I have to make a note to stop buying from Toy R Us on line.

They do nothing to protect the items from shipping damage as well as from the items banging into each other in the shipper box.

Collector items lose there value when the collector box gets damaged by bad or not exhistant packing material. These people don't care and when you call they tell you to make a claim with UPS for shipping damage, this can take weeks and you lose the item, which may then be out of stock. They don't stand behind there shipping department inability to do the job.

NICE Barbie / BAD SHIPPING

The early pictures distributed by Mattel for this doll really didn't match up to the doll that ended up in production. The face paint and hair color for Faerie Queen are on the harsh side, especially the colors around the eyes which combined with the dark red haircolor, make the doll look angry.

For that reason alone, she doesn't display as well with the first Legends of Ireland doll, in my opinion. The coloring of her outfit, a mossy green in the usual mid-quality Mattel taffeta, tulle and cotton, is the same as the first doll and quite pretty.

This is a very nice doll for the price point, but one probably not sturdy enough for kid's play. The costume isn't meant to be removed and the curly hair is easily tangled and matted, as mine was from rubbing on the back of the box.

I got this Barbie for my birthday from my husband. When I got the box and opened it, I was overtaken by the beauty of the doll. I am so pleased with the design and beauty.

I LOVE this doll! I have a collection of Barbies that I do not take out of the box and she is a beautiful addition to my collection. If you are a collector then I highly recommend this Barbie. She's gorgeous!!!!

The picture of this doll online is gorgeous. The one I received looks like a cheap imitation. The shipping box that the doll was packed in was too big, with no packing material at all to protect it, so the decorative barbie doll box is smashed and makes it looks cheap like something from a clearance rack.

In the online picture of this doll, her dress is a beautiful light olive green; The real doll's dress is a bright yellowish green, and not nearly as pretty. My niece will probably still like this doll, but I would not have been willing to pay more than $14 for it, had I known what it really looked like; with shipping costs I paid nearly twice that much.

I've wanted this doll ever since I saw a picture of it. She's simply beautiful and has a very reasonable price. Her curly hair is a gorgeous, rich shade of red and I love how her bright green eyes and intense red lips contrast with her pale skin. The green dots under her eyes add an extra touch of fantasy. Her dress is a wonderful shade of moss green. I gave 3 stars for educational value because on the back of the doll's box, there's a nice story about the faerie in Irish folklore. This doll really looks like she came from a "faerie" tale!

This doll is beautiful, but not as beautiful as the Princess of Ireland doll. The thing that I like about the Faerie Queen is especially like her long, red hair. I'm not sure that I care for the color of her outfit, which is almost a lime green (but not fluorescent or anything). I really don't know how durable she is because I have not removed her from the box. The green box adorned with Celtic knotwork that she comes packaged in is nice for display purposes. I think that she is worth the money. However, since I have bought the redheaded version of the Faerie Queen there is a limited edition brunette version of this doll that seems to be more collectable.

This is a beautiful doll to collect if you enjoy Irish culture and myths. I am not Irish but have always had a fascination for Irish myths and legends. I love to look at this doll and just admire Irish Legend throught her.

I have the bard barbie, the first doll in this series and could not wait to get the second after seeing her picture. It was worth the wait. The faerie queen barbie is gorgeous. Can't wait for spellbound lover to come out.

The discription is missleading as when you get this doll,it is not the Limited Edition,but just the collector edition,I think this is a gross error and should be worded more correctly.This is false advertising.
