I have been working as a nurse for 8 years now and I have purchased every brand of insole support for my shoes. I suffer from heel spurs (painful!!!!!), and I need support in my shoes.I went online and researched another brand of supportive shoe that will still look good.I went to the store expecting to get these plastic shoes that alot of my coworkers have and love.I was sidetracked when I entered the store by the Merrells. Not only are they stylish, but they really are great for my feet. I seriously just got home from work and my feet feel so good. They really cushion and surround the foot and are lightweight. I'm sure that I can wear these with socks if I choose to. I truly will buy more Merrell products for myself and my family in the future. Try on a pair in your shoe store. You and your feet WILL for a new friendship. Enjoy.

I have had foot problems all my life. I'm 71 years old. Even as a child, shoes were agony for me...blisters on top of blisters, and my balance has never been good because I was born with spina bifida. I found these shoes in a local store during the summer, and they HAVE NOT BEEN off my feet (daily) since that time. These are undoubtably the most comfortable shoes made, and I've received many compliments on them...even my podiatrist remarked on them. These shoes are constructed in such a way that they're easy on your feet, legs, and lower back. They have also been constructed to mold and cradle the foot so that it's easier to retain your balance in them. I won't buy anything other than Merrell's anymore, even though I have a CLOSET of shoes (hello Good-Will!!)

I've owned this shoe for over 4 years and they are still in good shape. It offers great foot support and is easy to slip on and off. I've worn them camping in Yosemite, rafting in the mountain streams, wore them right into the river and they dried out, no problems. This summer, they were my shoe of choice for walking throughout Europe. They breathe better than your typical closed-in shoe and you don't need socks. I have washed these shoes a number of times and they just air dry, good as new. I recommend this shoe.

I love Merrell shoes but I needed a pair I could wear in summer with light socks & not have totally hot feet. So I got these ones & I love them. They have a mesh-type overlay on the top that allows air in & keeps them a bit "breezy". I do like sandals, but I'm someone that needs a sturdy shoe for feet that have bunions & sandals sometimes hurt after a while. These have even become my golfing shoes. I have really enjoyed them and give them a thumbs up recommendation.
