I have had these headphones for 4mo. I wanted to wait to give a fair review. I work in a very loud factory and was using the over the ear type phone. All I have to say is that SH-- is out dated. I could not believe how rich the sound and how it also blocked out area noise. With my other phones vol was @32 with earbuds vol was @ 10-13. I didn't have to blast vol to cover up area noise. It also allowed for some noise to come in so Iam quite aware of what is going on around me. I not giveing it 5stars because there might be better ones out there but for sure this earbud kicks butt. I really like haveing the vol control on the phone. I put my MP3 player on the highest setting and then control the vol by the phone. I like that a lot because I don't have to pull my MP3 player out and play with it.
Overall, sound quality was not bad. They were a little bass heavy for me, so rap fans will love it. I had to adjust EQ settings on my various devices to tone it down a bit though. The volume on the cord was nice and moved smoothly. I love my Bose in-ear a lot more, but they are about 4x the price. So these are a great value.
They broke pretty quickly on me. I just needed these as beater earphones yet they didn't serve me for more than 6 months. Highs are a little too loud. Bass is strong and doesn't rumble too much, tight enough. Mids are ok. Pretty comfortable. Buy the V-Moda "Bass Freqs" instead.
