Not plug and play, and the driver only comes on a floppy disk
on November 15, 2008
I was very disappointed by this keyboard. First, my computer didn't recognize it, then I noticed the 3.5 inch floppy disk in the box containing the drivers. The last time I owned a computer with a floppy drive was about 5 years ago. There is absolutely no manufacturer's name on the box so no way to visit a website to download a driver. I finally located a computer with a floppy drive, and copied the driver to a USB drive and from there installed it onto my computer. After that all keys worked except the middle row (ASDF;LKJ). So the keyboard is useless. And at 7.99 + 8 for shipping, it's not worth sending back. Just another one for the landfill.
For the record, I bought this from geeks.com through the Amazon website. I live in San Diego, and geeks.com is in Oceanside, about 30 miles up the coast. The product arrived the day after I ordered it. That was the good part of the experience. It was downhill from there.
