Good idea, but not very durable,
By Katrina728 "katrina728" (Chicago, IL) - See all my reviews I've had this cork bathroom mat for 6 months and it hasn't held up well at all. I put it outside the tub and after 2 or 3 months the corners started to curl up. Unfortunately I accidentally stepped on one of the curled up corners and it broke off. I still use it, but it looks pretty ratty and has gotten darker/grimy from use.

I like ours!,
By It is soooo warm to stand on, as opposed to the cold tile floor. It dries quickly, and look as new as when we first bought it, several months ago. Our whole house tends to be pretty dry, so we haven't seen any curling or warping.....as of yet, at least. Perhaps the others have a more humid or less ventilated enviroment???? Anyhow, it's been great. I would replace with another, when and if the time comes.

Not Sure About This One,

I have had this bathmat for a couple of years. It is not absorbent, which is supposed to be a good thing, but I'm not sure what the point is. So now, instead of standing on the floor when I get out of the shower, I stand on a piece of cork that then has puddles on it. I finally put the bathmat over it, so the bathmat sits on the cork and the floor never actually gets wet. I wouldn't recommend this because I'm not really sure what the purpose of this mat is.

I don't get it.,

I've only had this thing for 1 day and it already curled up around the edges. The water takes forever to dry as there are small ridges all over the mat, so when you get out they fill up with water and it feels like you're standing on tiny puddles. Can't recommend it.

I purchased this mat for my upstairs bathroom. It's firm to step on and is a no brainer to take care of. I ordered this type of mat because of the it is a more germ free type of material and doesn't have to be washed every week.
It gives my 89 year old mother a solid area to step on without worrying about tripping or falling. An excellant investement. |
