I almost tossed my mini-processor away when the top broke. It then dawned on me that perhaps I could just order a replacement top...sure enough I easily found it and it arrived within a few days...fit like a charm and saved me $$$ not needing to purchase a brand new appliance!

My bowl lid model number is CH-4WBC , redirects to this lid and is the wrong size, ~1/4 inch too small. Just a heads up.
So if your model is cgc-4pc3 it will probably not fit.

I just about died when my original cover warped from being too close to the stove. I use the mini food processor all the time so I loathed having it turn into the appliance junk heap. I didn't love that I had to go to the post office to pick up my package since it didn't ship from Amazon but it was still worth the effort.

The Cuisinart DLC-2AWB-1 Work Bowl w/ Clear Handle, 24 oz. is a very good replacement part. The original bowl to my Cuisinart Mini-Prep Plus Processor developed a number of hairline cracks around the center post. It was only a matter of time before it began to leak, so I turned to Amazon for a replacement part. New Mini-Prep Plus Processors were $39 and since the only problem with mine was a cracked bowl, I didn't feel there was a need to replace the entire unit.

If you do much online research, you will find that the $15 and free shipping offered by Culinary Parts is one of the lowest, if not the lowest, to be found. Several other vendors charged as much as $10 more! Added to that was the fact that Culinary Parts is affiliated with Amazon; I looked no further. Shipping was rapid; I ordered over a weekend and had the Cuisinart DLC-2AWB-1 Work Bowl w/ Clear Handle, 24 oz. a week from the Monday the order was acknowledged. Five star service.

I rated this bowl as a 4-star product because it is not as durable as I think it should be. I have had my original Mini-Prep Plus for only 5 years and use it infrequently to chop walnuts and grind oatmeal into a fine meal. In my opinion, these two items are not so hard as to cause the amount of cracking that is present in the bowl.

I own a Mini-Prep Plus Processor Model DLC-2A Series. I recived as a gift from my niece Stephanie. Then awhile back I was trying to move stuff off the counter and the the lid fell to the floor and chipped the lid. My sister said" Hey if you go onto Amazon.com or the Cuisinart site to find a replacemt". No Luck, there on Cuisinart's part they only have the newer parts not the older parts. So we came back to Amazon and just order the work bowl to find that it didn't work on mine because the numbers didn't match. If you hold up the lid it's ingraved in in a square stating that it's made in China but under the words Cuisinart DLC-2AWBC. On the work bowl= 3 cup where the handle it is ingraved upside down,if you hold where the handle is in a sitting position it also reads DLC-2AWB Also the Smart Power Blade has 2 numbers reading 407 is the bottom blade the top is 406. That's is how you replace your items to this 1980's Cuisinart. My sister Susan found the ingravings on the lid sent away for it. It fit's perfect.

Wrong size for my bowl. Disappointed due to size error. Would not purchase again. Otherwise it would be fine if it fit my bowl.

This lid looked like the one I needed and had the correct model number but was a fraction of an inch too small. When I went to return it, the postage was $15.00 which was the same amount as the lid. Needless to say I'll be keeping it and am out the money. Thank you.
