I've killed about 3 pairs of headphones at the gym because I always sweat a lot. I figured my next pair should be made for working out. I found these and was a little shocked at the low price, I thought they might be cheap and suffer the same fate as my previous headphones, but I was wrong. These headphones are awesome! I always get an excellent loud sound no matter how much I sweat. Plus the over the ear design keeps them from slipping off while running or doing any cardio activity. Before buying these headphone one concern I had was that the cord might be too short, I'm 6'3" and I needed a cord that would be long enough to allow me to leave my mp3 player in my pocket while wearing the headphones and these did the job and still have some slack to spare. One last note: if you want to run outdoors and wear sunglasses, the over the ear design of these headphone will interfere with the sunglasses. If you're looking to use headphones while wearing sunglasses, I recommend looking elsewhere.

Got these to replace my iPod earbuds, which have gone all staticky with sweat. I'm not an audiophile necessarily, but these have perfectly adequate sound which I'm quite happy with. Only problem is that the frames are too big- I'm a 5'8" woman, and no dainty maid- and the buds do not fit comfortably in my ears. To be fair, though, no buds have ever really fit comfortably in my ears, they might just be queer-shaped. I think these are really built for men, and big men at that.

I bought 3 different pair of headphones about a year ago specifically to use when I run. This pair of Panasonic is my favorite for 3 reasons:

1) Good fit to my ears and they don't fall or dislodge when I run. They do ride out slightly after the first few steps but then stabilize pretty well, so I just turn up the volume a little bit and I can hear music fine. I had to experiment with different headphones to find one that fit my ears and was stable, so this set may or may not work for you (but they are cheap enough to buy and try it out!).

2) Good sound quality. The Philips headphones had the best sound, but they kept falling out my ear holes when I ran so I couldn't hear the music anyway. These headphones are decent but maybe not the best out there, but considering the price it is a good deal.

3) Sweat doesn't seem to affect it. I had a pair of Sony earphones that would get muddled when I started to sweat and sometimes just completely shut off the sound. I have not had a single experience with these headphones yet like that after 1 year of heavy use (about 4 times/week).

After a year of regular use, the headphones themselves are in great shape and I could keep using them.....if not for a failing connector. The wire at the base of the connector is starting to go I guess since music is starting to cut in and out when the connector is moved. So I am going to buy another pair since I really like these and toss the old ones. They are cheap enough that I can do this every year if I need to!

I used the earphones throughout a rainy marathon (Honolulu) without discomfort and they are still working great. They fit my ears nicely and the soft "hook" should form to most ears well. The cord is average length, which is fine if your device is around your hip, but too long if you wear it on an armband.

I run 5 miles a day 7 days a week. I have tried expensive ear buds and many others at different prices and none of them hold up. I have concluded these are the best for sound quality, lasting and holding up. My first pair lasted about a year under these extreme conditions and I live on the Gulf Coast. [This is excellent] I love these so much I bought 4 more pairs in case they quit making them. I bought these and 2 other different more expensive ones to test and these sounded the best! For $10 give them a try.

You can not go wrong with this one, if you use for jogging, biking or in gyms.
Earhooks will keep earphones stay at all time, soud quality is O.K.

I will throw these out as soon as I can buy another pair of earphones. They are way to big for me and keep falling off my ears. If you are a smaller-framed person you might have the same issue.

I normally don't like to write a review to just slam a product but I could not resist for these headphones. I have been using them for about a month and don't think I can take it any longer. I use them for running on the treadmill and I got them because of the sport clip and water resistant features. The sound quality was good on them at first until you start to sweat. They will cut off eventually and most of the time I just take them off by the end of the run. I have noticed that they continued to cut in and out every time I use them. Besides this problem the actual ear buds themselves are very uncomfortable. They feel too big and the sport clips do not hold them in place. Before this I used a $10 pair of JVC gummy headphones that were 10x better.

I'm pretty active and go to the gym 3-4 times a week. These ear phones provide me with good music/good fit to help faciltate my workout/run. They easily wrap around the ears and have water resistant earbuds. For me the fit is perfect, thus the sound is amazing. I previously had the Philips SHS3200/37 Flexible Earhook but it seemed to be big for my ears so sound seemed to "escape." I wasted so much battery on my ipod since I had to raise the volume to compensate for the bad fit.

You don't get too much bass out of these ear phones but it's under $20 so you can't complain!
