The good news: this boot is sturdy and should last. Its lining is shearling (as described) but very, very short - too short to give the warmth one might reasonably expect from a shearling boot from a top drawer manufacturer. From an el cheapo manufacturer, this boot would exceed expectations - from UGG it does not meet mine. I had looked for the warmest boot they make - and this was the best available (a much better looking model was apparently running out because it was available in extra large and small sizes only). One would wish that UGG would come up with something substantially better than this boot - for warmth and comfort - even if it cost a lot more. "Quality now far below price" can be read two ways.
