I have been using this polish for a decade now, and I do not have many problems with it. It creates a mirror finish in two or three well applied coats, one coat will give you a good black polish. The problem with this product is the liklihood of flaking... a problem not really experienced with traditional black. I always put two coats of normal black on the shoes as a good initial base, to counteract the effects of the high silicone content (which i assume causes the flaking). I will continue to use this polish to have smartly polished shoes; it would be difficult to find a polish with a reputation of consistent superiority.

This stuff is great! However I recomend that you don't follow the directions on the back of the can, because it will ruin your shine and crack when you wear it. If you want the best possible shine, then do a spit shine for the "mirror like" high gloss. It does take a long time do appy it to a pair of shoes(1 hour each shoe). But if you want the ultimate long lasting shine you have to work for it with a spit shine. Do a spit shine while your watching tv or something else where you don't need your hands. If you don't know how to spit shine look go to [...] and I recomend using kiwi shine cloths instead of a cotton shirt because the shine cloths are made of a different material that won't scratch your shine.

The KIWI White shoe polish works quite well it covers scraches and scuffs very well. I have always liked KIWI products.I was finding it hard to fine white at local stores in my area. Once again AMAZON came through both in price and delivery.

I have used this virtually unknown product for some time and find it indispensable. To get a shine that people will notice and ask you about, try this recipe. Use black Meltonian or Tarrago cream polish for a base coat, buff, then add a light layer of Parade Gloss  next, brush and buff. You will get a shine that looks like a brand new patent leather shoe, without a build-up or cracking, Propert's cream would do this in one step, however 10 years ago, Kiwi bought the UK company and killed it off. Forget using a lighter to melt the polish or spit-polishing. You can't get a better shine than you can with Parade Gloss and you save all the time it takes to do the exotic stuff.
This is the best price you can find. Other on-line companies charge $5.50 to $6.50. Good Luck!

Very high shine, Little work. After years in the U S Army, I have never seen a better product. Spit shine not required, this will equal a spit shine with using only conventional methods.
However, the shipping was quite high for a couple ounces total weight.

looked EVERYWHERE for this! you just cannot buff out & polish your nursing shoes with the cheap liquid shoe polish sold in stores. just use a sponge or rag to rub into the leather, then wait a bit & 'buff' with soft cloth/towel or a shoe brush is best. The color LASTS & shoes look new - because it is white, & shoes are white, it won't completely eliminate tough scuffs where leather is broken, but it is FAR better than liquid polish that does nothing to help scuffs

I have used this shoe polish for over 50 years. Had a hard time finding it this time, but finally did. As always it is the best and always will be. My white leather Keds look as good as new and are more comfortable than new.

Nothing compares to polishing shoes with Kiwi Shoe Polish paste. For superior results stick with the pastes, not the liquids.
