This is by far THE BEST sub you can buy next to the "Diamond D9". With incredible power handling this sub can take anything. The response is incredible and the sound is tight and crisp. The sub can go to frequency levels too low to hear and still wont distort. This is great for all you very specific and picky audiophiles like myself or for average kid looking for a lovely noise violation ticket and the tow that comes with it. This sub will make the ground shake and make your car seats into a massage chair. I would recommend this to the greatest audiophiles or to the average person looking to turn heads, make bets and collect the cash. BUY IT!

Bought 2 of these to replace some 12" alpine type-r's that I was not happy with in my 1.2 cubic ft per chamber slot port box. The r's would not go that low and didnt sound as good as they should in my small enclosure. I run a HF Brutus 1700 watt rms mono class D sub amp (3 amps total with mids and highs) 2 batteries, a 180 amp alternator, big 3, and Cadence 0 awg wire. I have built many systems. These Pioneer pro subs slam hard with this setup @ 1 ohm. The subs are under powered with this amp but still the rear view mirror is useless and I have to keep my moon roof open or I believe my front window will break in my Strat r/t at high volume levels lol. I have had type r's, various Kicker's and other subs in this box over the years and none sound as good as these Pioneers. A side note, the box is lined with 1/2" memory type foam and always has been. These may be the best subs available for space limited enclosures. I wish I would have found these before I bought the Type r's. If you like the type of bass that makes your nose itch and eyes blur you may want to look into these subs.

This little beauty slams and it does it in only .8 cu feet. The new air suspension system is really innovative. I have a Sony XM-2002GTR which has 500watt rms at 4 ohms and its plenty. I put a 2 farad Power akoustic capacitor and used a 1/0 gauge amp kit. I also drilled holes in the heatsink and added an 85 cfm cooling fan to my amp and wide open my amp barely gets warm. I do suggest a 1.2 cu ft ported box though. The sealed box is great for small spaces but the speaker preforms better in the ported box. All in all i can shake the walls in my house with this one speaker.

Was looking for the most powerfull sub I could find. First I came across the MTX Jackhammer subs but those are out of my price range, plus they are way too big to be practical for me. After alot of browsing I found this one. Got it powered by a Kenwood 1800 watt amp I found on here. I dont have a cap yet but I have one on the way. I can turn my system way up and this sub has no problem keeping up. I mostly listen to black metal and I was looking for a sub that could handle the really fast drums that music has in it and this is the one for me. When I first got this I showed it to my roomates and they were like "How much did you pay for that, about $500.00? Been using it for a couple days now. The bass is deafining inside the car. The bass is kind of boomy inside the car but outside it sounds nice and low. Probly sound better in an S.U.V. or something. As far as I'm concerned, this sub is bulletproof. I don't expect to have to buy another sub for a long time. This one is perfect. Its worth the money. Buy it.

i have only one subwoofer and my whole car rattles at half volume, if i dont put my volume extremely low my head rattles a bit i feel every bit of bass this thing comes out with.

Allot of people say these subs dont hit hard and i believe they are doing 3 things wrong, Bad amp, Bad wire, Bad sub box.

the bigger the enclosure the more this thing rattles and bumps. this sub alone has been one of the best things i have bought for my car. and even though its a little bit under powered (Amp, 650 rms @ 4ohms, 750 rms @ 2ohms, Sub is 1000 rms) this thing gives me a headache

Cheapest sub and better than most high quality subs i have had in the past.

(For the sake of not being trolled upon i will not mention which subs i have had)

Ok I have two of these with final load of 1 ohm in my truck. I am using a pioneer GM-D9601 to feed them. Even with that small amp, these things slam very hard in a ported fierce box. I purchased a hifonic Brx 2000.1d but I am afraid to feed them with it because it might stop my heart with a big boom. When the bass drops, everything in the car shakes like crazy including my steering wheel . I don't know if my rear window will survive for one month. Also, you will be very proud with these subs if you play track # 3 and 11 of Bass Mekanik ( Bassotronics ).

Get it if you can.

At first I began smelling a really strong plastic burning smell. I ran the sub in series an now the smells gone. I'm pushing 1 of these subs with a 300 watt amp and it bangs. I have a 3500 watt boss waiting to put in so it's only gonna get better. nothing negative to say about it except when i contacted the seller they never replied which is a huge deal to me. I would've gave all 5 if they would've replied. It's been in for 2 weeks I'll
