The Motorola H695 is the best headset that I have ever owned and it's also the most affordable, but not the most comfortable. The only included ear cushion is to large for my small ears and I must remove the headset form time to time, other than that it's the greatest. Pros: A real off/on button, dual microphones, easy pair system, loud volume, 30 feet range, DPS processing, noise reduction, size/weight and great design.

I've had this headset for a little over a year, which in of itself, is a record for me. I've had quite a few bluetooth headsets since their invention and this one is about in middle-to-top of the pack. Here's the deal, NONE of them is perfect and some people will find fault with ANYTHING. My theory in buying these things is this...stay around $20-$25 and you'll be happy most of the time. This H695 is good for the money. The ear hoop is a thin, rugged plastic and has remained flexible like new for 14 months...Oh, I use it every day and charge it every day.

The piece that goes in your ear is the only down side. As others have said, it only comes with the one soft rubber cover, not three. You have to be careful when you put it in your pocket because it can come off...as has happened several times to me, but luckily I always found it. Two dots of Super Glue on the headset and careful reattachment has remedied this flaw and it is no longer a factor, it stays on just fine now. The ear piece is a bit large to fit in your ear, I would NOT recommend this to women or folks with small ears, it will continually pop out and just lay next to you ear forcing you to hold the palm of your hand over it to use it properly.

The ON/OFF button is key here, I can't over stress the need for an ON/OFF button for a bluetooth headset, if you want the thing to last a full day of continuous talking, be diligent and use it to preserve the battery by turning it off when not in use. It works and hasn't broken in over a year...and I use it several times a day. This speaks to the construction, to the folks that have called it cheap, I'll question their judgment on that point.

The COMMAND button on the side works fine, whenever you push it, it does what it's supposed to do...ends the call connection, start a command to your phone, etc. I use that dozens of times a day.

The battery life is probably the best of any headset I've ever had, I get 4-6 hours of talk time no problem every day. I'm on the phone a lot for my work. The charger is very nice, a magnet holds it in place in this cool little charger case than comes with a clear plastic cover. You have to make sure the contacts are properly connected with a little jiggle so the charging light comes on.

When I use it, the people on the other end have no idea that I'm on a bluetooth headset...and I ask continually when I use it to make sure people can hear me. So clarity and voice reception are great. The volume control is nice and solid and works every time. Sometimes after charging it (from dead), it resets itself to a middle volume setting, so you have to tap the + button (the rearward one) to bring it back to full volume...which is what I use all the time. Hey, I'm 55 and the ears don't work as they used to...too many rock concerts in my youth!

It pairs very easily. Ive had 3 different brands of phone with the H695...a Motorola, a Nokia, and now an LG Vu. It connects every time flawlessly and never disconnects unless it runs out of power...and it gives you the subtle little beeps for a good 10 minutes before it shuts down, so ample notice is given.

I would highly recommend this headset for the money...I went four stars because nothing is perfect and the little rubber thing that goes in your ear is a little large, but works for me and is comfortable.

PS: I answered 3 phone calls using it while writing this review!

Tried various models from Samsung, Motorola and Plantronics but had to return them all because of echo, difficulty in pairing, poor sound quality in noisy environment, uncomfortable design. Using H695 for few weeks now with my Blackberry. Absolute charm. The best part is that the switching on and pairing button are different so that you don't have to follow the timings to switch on, pair and connect. Pairing is just a one time job and thereafter for daily use you just need to switch on and off. The moment I switch on H695, it takes 3-4 seconds to automatically connect to phone (Of course the bluetooth on the phone should be on). You can't get a noise canceling headphone under $20. Highly recommended. BTW Samsung makes very good looking products but inside just [...].

Pros
Easy Pairing
Extremely easy and fast (3-4 seconds) connectivity after one time pairing
Very comfortable
Good even in windy condition and large rooms (Where it echos)

Cons
Haven't found yet

Don't bother purchasing this product. I bought this bluetooth on Black Friday for $19.00! I returned it the same day I received it. I ordered a 'new' bluetooth from Amazon but what I received, as others did, was a used bluetooth. It had scratches all over it and the warranty seemed used/tattered as well. I read reviews that this has happened to other customers but thought I'd get lucky. I'm very disappointed that Amazon would deceive a customer this way! Never will I buy from Amazon again, you never know what you're going to get. Save yourself the hassle and just go into the store if you can.

Just opened this package shipped directly from AMAZON and it turns out this product is USED! Chip marks on the device, packaged like it was just thrown together etc...

Needless to say, when I order through AMAZON, I expect to get a quality product...Not in this case...Pathetic quality controls and poor product information..I expect this from "other" internet sites but certainly not from AMAZON...

Received my H695 and all the pieces came in a little plastic bag and the headset had alot of tiny scratches on it. So I called customer service and they apologized and rushed me out another. Unfortunately, the replacement appeared to actually be in worse shape than the first. I am extremely disappointed that Amazon is advertising and passing off used merchandise as new.

They product works great. It is the first earpiece that I have owned since having a bluetooth phone but I can hear clearly and it is very easy to work and set up. For $20, I don't see how spending $60-$100 on an ear piece would be worth it. (which looking at this particular market earpieces get extremely expensive and they all do the exact same thing!)

This is my second Motorola headset, I had the H680 model before and was happy with it. The only complaint I had with the H685 was the microphone part of the headset... some people thought I sounded far away. Most people commented on the quality of my voice though and thought I sounded great. I accidentally dropped the H685 in a water puddle and had to look for a replacement.
Since then I purchased the H695 after reading some reviews and discovered that this model came with the "Advanced Audio Noise and echo cancellation technology" which makes voices sharp for clearer conversations. I have to tell you that the quality and the volume is so much better in comparison with the H680 model and it still has the same user features that I liked. Also, the description for this headset claims only 5.5 hours of usage time but in my experience it is more like 7 hours. In my opinion the H695 came with some great improvements.

Obviously, this product is mass produced so there will be a few defective units in a batch of thousands. I was the lucky one who got a bad unit.

Wouldn't pair after hours of trying - wouldn't fully charge and the lights didn't match the instruction booklet. Called customer service - EXTREMELY frustrating to deal with. (Just very limited English proficiency)

Anyhow, good thing amazon has a return policy. The product is cheaply made and I don't think it would last long. However, if you are spending $20, what are you really expecting? In my city, $20 doesn't even buy you a decent dinner.

If you're looking for a headset which will last, I would say spend around $30-50...
