I got these for Christmas for my husband. They are true to size, don't shrink too much and fit perfectly. If you order a 32 it is really a 32 (which I'm finding is harder and harder to find with pants). He has been wearing them a lot and they seem to wash/wear nicely.

If you haven't had Dickies pants before you should note that these are a bit stiffer than regular denim.

I have the hardest time getting jeans for my husband. He is very specific in his requirements that the jeans be durable (we have destroyed many of the cheaply made jeans)and that there be enough room around the crotch and in the pockets. This one was the first one in more than an year that passed the test! We just ordered 3 more pairs

These jeans fit perfectly for the larger man. They heave plenty of room in the seat and thigh area and are very durable.

I am a carpenter. My work clothes have to allow me freedom of movement as I'm up and down ladders, kneeling on floors, etc. I used to have a couple of Duluth Trading Firehose pants. They are exceptional work pants but the Firehose weaving didn't hold up to the wear and tear of the job site as they would have you believe. At $60.00 a pair for the Firehose, I thought it would make more sense to look at another less expensive brand. The Dickies Loose Fit Carpenter Jeans are comfortable, slide up and down my leg with changing positions and (so far) have held up to the wear and tear of the job site. To summarize if you have the extra cash buy the Duluth Firehose, but for value the Dickies are a good choice

i looked high and low for jeans that fit my husband the way he likes. i even read every review and asked a few questions. someone said that i didn't thank him for answering my question but i asked so many questions i forgot who i thanked. so for all the people that responed to all my questions THANKS!!!!! he loves these jeans and they fit him better than any of the really expensive ones he has been buying for years. we chose these because of the review that said "if you are a guy that is really hung low, these are for you" LOL I really love ordering from AMAZON. I'm always satisfied and if i'm not (which is rare) i never have a problem with any returns or refunds.

These are just good ole' jeans! Especially for a someone who is a contractor or works hard in the field. These jeans are sturdy and can take hundreds of washings without compromising the seams. Most jeans will rip out in the crotch area after a few washings. Not these jeans! They stand up to a lot of harsh effects. The material is thick but the jeans are breathable. You may pay the same as you would for other name brand jeans but Dickies are definitely worth their weight in gold. They retain their shape and color much longer than most jeans. In the long run, these jeans will not only save you time and money but they give you the comfort you're looking for.

My husband has a difficult time finding pants that fit. He was a 501 button fly guy for 25 years. Nothing else would do. Styles kind of changed, prices are high. He wears his pants out pretty fast in construction. He found these at walmart and now on amazon. They sit below the waist on his hips (he can't wear high waisted pants) and they have a nice look, plus they have the extra pocket on the side typical of cargo pants. They are tough and durable. When he buys the tan or green pants, he has to get 33x32 and on the denim color, he wears 32x32 every time. They are also comfortable and have a great fit. Of course, he has a really good figure!

They seem a touch long for a 32L, but not a problem. Very comfortable and the heavey weight jean material holds up very well.

The leg pocket is very deep, so it will hold a pair of side cutters very nice. There is another smaller pocket on top of that. I like to carry my cell phone in that one. If I have my cell in that small pocket, I don't put anything in the deeper pocket for fear of breaking the screen. Cell phones are getting larger each year. This smaller pocket holds an Iphone nicely and you don't have to work to get it out like some other work pants.

Wore them today.... great jeans.
