I got a medium; I am 5 feet 7 inches and weigh about 150 pounds. This coat fits me great! I am pear-shaped so most things like dresses and coats that are this long make me look like a sack of potatoes, but this one blossoms out at the waist so it looks good on me, like a skirt. The coat ends a few inches above my knees. I'm glad it did but couldn't tell how long it was in the picture, since they didn't use a model.

I read the reviews and saw that it ran a little big. Therefore, I decided to order a size small. I am 5'5" and 120 pounds and the small is HUGE!!!!!!! Seriously, a lab coat this size would fit someone who weighs 50 pounds more than me. More specifically, 40 of those 50 pounds would need to be in the butt/hip area as this part is gigantic! I thought washing and drying it on high heat would shrink it...nope! I guess the quality is good, but it doesn't really matter because I look like a child playing dress up as a doctor in this lab coat. I plan to return it.

This is a good alternative to the standard straight side unisex white lab coats. The curve at the waist gives this a more feminine look. The material is heavy duty and will wear like iron. This lab coat combines a little bit of style at the same time protecting clothing.

It took a little research to choose this particular model of lab coat. Cherokee Uniforms makes a wide range of lab coats for women. They come in a range of lengths from 29 to 37 inches. For a given length there are three or four models. The shorter lab coats fall just below the waist. The longer coats land about mid thigh. This 36 inch coat provides a lot of protection for clothing and is probably the best choice for working with chemicals.

The coat washed up nicely with no shrinkage.

Cherokee has two 36 inch models, this one the 2410 and the 2319. It took me about ten minutes comparing the two photographs to figure out the difference between these two, it is that subtle. The 2410 has slanted pockets and a short two button "belt" in the back. Of the two, I liked this style better. The differences are small.

Cherokee 2319 Women's Professional Whites 36-inch Lab Coat

Overall, this is a nice lab coat that adds a bit of style to a bland environment. For women, this is a major upgrade over the standard issue lab coats.

For even more style, the Dickies pewter lab coat can't be beat, although it is much shorter.

Ok, I originally ordered this lab coat too small after having read ALL the reviews about it being larger than the size. So, I usually wear a large, and because of the reviews, I decided to order a medium. Well, when it came in, it was WAY to small.

So, I contacted Marcus Uniforms for an exchange. They were very helpful, so I do recommend them as a seller. When I went for the reorder, I pulled up the sizing info. I would actually fit in between a Large and XL, so I ordered the XL because I obviously wear cloths underneath, AND I love to wear sweaters in the cooler months.

The lab coat arrived this morning. At first it did fit a little big, but after washing and drying, it did shrink up that little bit that I needed. It is still loose enough that I can wear a sweater in the cooler months, but not so loose that it looks like my fiance should be wearing it.

FYI, I am a curvy gal, and the description of "stylish and figure flattering lab coat" is true for me. This is a cute lab coat and I do recommend it. I just wish I had stuck with the sizing info instead of reading into the "it's too big" reviews because I stained a top of mine when we did a science experiment last week. Oh well, at least I have it now.

I wanted a lab coat with a bit of substance- something heavier and with some tailoring to it. This coat definately has that.Great quality and so far has washed nicely as well. It does run a bit big and it does have a bit of a flare at the bottom as another reviewer has noted but those are the only negatives. I am ordering another one in a smaller size.

I ordered this lab coat to wear in a chemistry laboratory. Reading the other reviewers I ordered a medium size. I am 5ft 5in tall and I weigh 150Ibs. Still it kind of looks slightly big on me, but I'd like to wear a jacket under the coat and that is why the size perfectly fits me. I believe a small size would be too small for me. It fits well and I like the design. I recommend.

I am 5"2.5 and 130 pounds and this coat fit me perfectly around the shoulders. It came to my knees. It is long around the arms bc I have short limbs.

I was informed last minute for my Veterinary Technician class that I would be needing a white lab coat for the class. Nice to know the college lets you know ahead of time... I had went to a couple stores that night when my class had let out, and I could not find a long sleeved white lab coat. I pulled up Amazon on my laptop when I returned home, finding this one that suited my taste quite well. It was perfect. I bought it Monday evening and awaited anxiously, hoping I would get it before my Friday class. Sure enough, around noon on Thursday, the UPS truck driver knocks on my door with my lab coat safely packed.

The lab coat itself fits wonderfully for my petite size. I was a bit scared thinking the XS wouldn't fit, but it fits as it should, and the price for it I feel is very fair. Also included in the shipment was a nice little catalog. So if you're going into the medical field and you need a nice lab coat, or perhaps some scrubs, I would recommend this durable coat, and perhaps some scrubs by the same seller.

I bought this lab coat because I wanted something more fitted than the standard box shaped ones. This is a good quality coat, made of nice heavy material. It is honestly much heavier than any of my other lab coats, which is nice. The only problem that I have is that I bought the smallest size available and it is still too big. Also, it attempts to have a nice A-line shape to it, but flairs out at a funny angle, and a bit far.
