I love the cut of Carhartt pants and own several pairs, thus I felt confident in ordering a pair online and getting a good fit. I was not disappointed in the quality or fit of these pants, however my pair came with integrated metal suspender buttons which make wearing a belt somewhat uncomfortable. I did not see this listed in the description anywhere and would have opted for a different pair if I had known this.

I purchased these pants for motorcycle riding and so far they have worked out perfectly. They are very thick which provides a good amount of protection from the cold. These pants fit very long. I originally tried on a pair in a store before buying online and I am glad that I did. I would guess that they are about two sizes longer than listed.

I love these jeans and have been wearing them for years. Whenever I buy a new pair first thing I do is put the suspender buttons in a vice and cut them off with a hacksaw. The button holes never fray and are barely noticeable, though they are under a belt anyway.

They are called “logger” and are perfect for the purpose, thus the five star rating.

+s: they do not tear and offer good protection from scrapes and scratches in the woods.

-s: they are cut very large and only fit well after washing in hot water. These are not made for fashion.

Exactly what we have bought from our local stores but out of correct size...came home, ordered and had in two days!!! Not disappointed...Carhartt is an awesome product for heavy duty workers such as logging., Because
Of the stiff, heavy material I wash prior to wearing 2 or 3 times to soften up....not anything different than buying from store. Last a long time....very durable.

Interesting new cut, great alternative to the fleece lined version I wear in the winter, the double knees are good for durability. And the color almost makes mee look like I am fashion forward

I've owned a pair of these a few years back and they held up well for the kind of work I'm in. So I decided to pick up another pair.

These pants aren’t for picking up girls. They’re for picking up logs. They ride high in the waist; about two inches higher than regular jeans, just below the ribcage. Hence the phrase “sits at the natural waist”. I wear a Levi’s 505 38w x 36i. The top fly button rests an inch below my belly button. I bought a Carhartt 38w x 36i. The Carhartt top fly button rests one inch above the belly button. These jeans have six integrated metal suspender buttons (4 front, 2 back). I imagine they won’t seem as high if worn with suspenders (suspenders not included).
They haven’t shrunk to fit yet, so for now I can tuck in a flannel shirt and roll the pant legs up about an inch. The legs are about an inch longer than my Levi’s even when pulled up as high as they can go. If they stay like this after shrinkage and being broke in, the next pair I order will be size 38w x 34i. As far as strength goes, they remind me of the old Sears “Toughskins” from the 1970’s. They’re tough. Built for go, not for show. Of course, on me, anything looks good.

my son is a welder and he has been wearing these pants for years. He says that they are the best and most durable work pants out there bar none. He started wearing them when he discovered many pants wouldn't even last 1 day. These are expensive, but pay for themselves in longevity - some have lasted him years. He hasn't worn FR pants other than leathers, but doesn't feel it's necessary given how much more they cost and how long these last. Of note - they are hot, but to him it's worth it to deal with the heat for the quality and durability of this pant.

Carhartt has a reputation for quality, and these pants looked and felt very study. They were, however, huge. I'm 160lbs, 5'8" and athletic, and I ordered these in a 30x30. The crotch literally ended over halfway down my thigh about 4-5" above my knee. In their defense, the waist did fit well, but the rest of the pant did not. I don't sag my pants and wear my jeans about 2" below my belly button. I felt like a clown pants gangster. Returned these and bought a pair of Duluth firehose pants. Amazing.
