They are just okay.
on August 6, 2012
I bought these earbuds(the brown and green colored version) as replacements for the apple earbuds that came with the iphone, which I gave to my mom to use on her phone. It costed me around 9 dollars. Overall I'd say they are okay and I could have easily given them a four stars instead of the three, but my ears say no.
The sounds quality is not as good as the earbuds that came with my iPhone. Even though there's a bit more bass, the overall sound is not very warm and too "sharp", for lack of a better word. Don't get me wrong though, they don't sound bad at all. I'm just being picky here. The main problem I have with these is that they cause discomfort in my ears after only about half an hour of use, so I'm forced to take breaks. I guess that could be a good thing.
As a write this review, I'm still listening to music with these, but I'm glad that in a few days I'm going to receive the over the ear headphones that I ordered for about 25 dollars more(than the 9 dollars I spent on these). I do recommend buying an over the ear headphone since the improvements in sound quality is tremendous, but if you don't want to spend too much money on headphones or need earbuds for exercise, at least don't buy these at the price listed($16).
