These are AMAZING! I've not listened to the $500+ Grados or the $1000+ AKGs; I'm sure they're better, but--as a life-long audio enthusiast--I'm blown away by the sound of these little buds. In fact, they are SO good and SO cheap, I'm hesitant to recommend them because I'm afraid the price will go up and I won't be able to afford the price they OUGHT to sell for.
Bonus #1: These are the most comfortable earbuds I've ever encountered. They use a very strange top-hanging earpiece that reduces the pressure and discomfort. Warning: I have only just received these, so I make no claims about comfort after multi-hour listening, but my expectations--so far--are VERY high.
Bonus #2: They come with a short cord, which is very convenient in that there's no way it can tangle if you only need a short cord; and they come with a high-quality extension cord which then gives you the option for long chord convenience.
Bonus #3: They come with a really really nifty little case. My MP3 player of choice--the Sansa Clip+--fits inside, along with the buds, the extension cord, and all the earpiece accessories.
Bottom line--COULD NOT BE MORE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Finally, a pair of headphones that stays in my ear at the gym! These sound far better than the Sennheiser CX300's I previously had--significantly better bass and richer sound overall. The cloth covered cables are great and there's no noise from the cord bouncing around. The storage case is really nice, too, and large enough to hold my iPod Shuffle inside. Hands down the best earbuds I've ever had. Will be buying another pair for my husband.

I've been looking for pair of non in-ear buds for a while and these headphones have a great design that is very comfortable for me. Since the product listing is a little sparse in actual information about the product I will provide some more information. See the product photos as well.

**Dimensions**
Ear piece: 18mm accross by 20mm height + ( 0 - 20mm ) extra height provided by the rubber nub at the top.
Cord length: 2.5 ft
Extension length: 2ft 4in

**Sound Quality**
I have only used these for a very short time so take this as a first impression. It is very loud. It doesn't take very many notches on the volume knob to get these to break your ears. That is true for my computer audio jack at least. The sound clearly favors treble but base heavy tracks sound fine. You won't blown away by the sound quality, it is what you would expect in this price range: good not great.

**Comfort**
Been wearing these for an hour now and it is pretty comfortable. And I will go as far as saying these are the most comfortable ear buds I've worn to date in the sub $50 price range. You get a lot of nubs to try out. There aren't any instructions on changing them out, just remember pull outwards from the bud not up. Also, when you're first trying them on you'll be fidgeting them around your ear a lot so it is not going to be very comfortable. Find a fit that is comfortable and come back to it later and try it out.

These are very snug if they fit properly. To demonstrate, I can drop my Samsung Fuze from chest height with these headphones on and the buds won't pop out of my ear. Although I wouldn't recommend trying that yourself because it hurts quite a bit.

**Conclusion**
Get them. They're $8 with shipping. They have average sound and a great fit. The build quality is solid as well with a braided cord and gold plated jack, though only time will tell how long they last.

These are unbeatable for the price! I was worried about how these would fit in my ears, and if they would be secure or not. They come with a range of different "blades" to fit any sized ears from dumbo to pinholes. They left my ears a bit sore after the first 2 days, but changed to a lower size and problem solved. The unique style of these don't make them "noise isolating" like regular in the ear-buds, which for me is a plus. Not to mention no more worries about ear wax being plugged in my ear (ENT's are the best btw). They DO NOT come out when running or doing my kettlebell swings unless you catch the cord and pull them *outwards.* If you pull the cable forward it will stay put.

The cable is the perfect length, to reach down to the belt/jacket pocket/arm, but not into my pants pockets. Thats where the extension comes in play. Which makes the overall length quite long, enough for me to hook up to my desktop. The cable is also covered with a "woven poly-cloth", which makes next to nill noise compared to steel braided cable when it rubs. Its also easier to deal with and less sticky than that rubber/plastic kind.

Bottom Line: These are so well thought out, and are truly workout friendly. NXG knows what they are doing. BTW there's a limited lifetime warranty on these, and registration was pain free.

For the price, these are awesome.
The technology used to place these in your ears takes some getting used to, but after they're in, they stay! Running, walking, sprinting, boxing, these headphones haven't fallen out. Of course, if they do seem to be slipping out, just replace the piece at the top that keeps it locked into the crevice of your ear. It comes with many sizes (yes, it comes with smaller ones, as my ears are a bit on the smaller side).

The sound quality is crisp and is surprisingly wholesome. Of course, you can't expect too much bass, but it honestly does way better than one would think. Mids and highs are really great too, and they rival my $30 headphones as well.

One of my favorite features of these earbuds is the cord. You might not be able to tell from the picture, but the wires are the tougher, woven fabric kind that you might find on much more expensive earbuds. They are very durable and give them an expensive look.

Overall, get these! Only a few bucks, and they really get the job done.

These things are great. I was looking for headphones I could work out in that did not cover my ears but also do not like ear buds sticking into my ear canal. These are the perfect compromise. They are also fit very well and securely. I have never had an issue with them falling out; They sort of 'lock' into the shape of your ear. I'm considering buying a second pair in case anything happens since they are discontinued !

These "earbuds" are very large--easily 4 times the volume of an in-ear earbud. I really like the sound but they become uncomfortable after wearing them for a while. They hook into the grove in the ear that surrounds the ear canal. I've tried different size adapters with very little improvement. Because I like the sound so much, I'm hoping I'll get used to them.

so i purchased these cause i needed ear phones and didn't want to spend a small fortune. So i wasn't expecting much. When i got these they came in a fancy box which is usually a clue to bad headphones. However the build quality was top notch. they are much bigger than pictured but work great. They have 4 different size attachments you can put in them to find just the right size for a perfect fit. Not to mention these things don't move at all they kinda work like the bose earphones when they stay in your ear. The hook under a fold in your ear on top and wedge in front of the ear so this things stay in place amazing. The connection is gold plated which is best for conductions of current for a smooth sound. The length of the cord isn't long which i like because i hate having a ton of cord just wobbling around. However if you don't like the short cord they provide you with a cord extension that reaches far which is great!!! also the cord itself is wrapped in fabric which make it hard to tangle and just again make the quality look top notch. Now to the sound. There isn't much bass in the earphones so don't expect some hip hp or anything but they work wonderful with classical or just want to hear some clear music which is nice. These are definitely worth the purchase oh did i mention they also come with a carrying case. i gave it four stars because they looked grey in the picture but they are black which threw me off at first but doesn't matter to much

pros:
fit snug
fabric cord
gold plated jack
extension cable
metal jacks closures
clear sound
extremely loud

cons:
cheap plastic speaker enclosure
no bass

I was looking for earphones that would stand up to regular 5K+ runs, while delivering good sound quality. Check! I have run with these several times and they never moved in my ear. No more frustrating adjusting or tightening while running. Sound quality is as good as previous brand name earbuds. I have small ears, but the "out of the box" configuration fits just fine. There are multiple sizes of the removable "wings" to fit different size ears. These are not really earbuds. They sit in the ear cavity, not inserted into the ear canal. This allows more outside noise, which is actually good for running, so you can hear cars, etc. I use the old earbuds when mowing the lawn, since they go into the ear canal and block the mower noise better, but I am still constantly adjusting those old earbuds and they slip out when your ear gets sweaty. Not so with the NXG Twistz- steady regardless of how wet the ear gets. Included extras are great: sturdy braided cable and an extension cable for walking with music player in a low pocket. I use the extension with my old earbuds as well. The price was unbelievably low, and I bought two sets to reduce the average price with the high shipping cost. I'll buy more for family and friends. Great product!

They stay in your ears really well, and come with different size appliances for different size ears. They also come with a cord extender.
