This is a nice soft top and the knit is not too heavy which suits me fine because I live in the tropics The material is half cotton half modal (I'm not sure what this is but it seems to be around a lot these days.).....WELL I've just looked it up and "modal" is a celulose fiber made from beech trees. It is very soft... AHH now I know why my top was so soft and its big advantage over cotton is that it does not shrink which cotton "is notorious for" so a 50/50 mix seems just right. I LOVE the colour. It's a pale purple/lilac tone and when I wore it most everyone remarked on how nice the colour was. It's very comfortable and sits well. Just a fine length for me neither too long nor too short. I'm 5' 5", weigh about 158 pounds and the LARGE fits me fine. All in all a very nice top for the price.

I ordered this shirt in one color and was so happy with the fit that I'm ordering a couple more colors. The first color I received, the pale Cappuccino Cream, is a nice color although it turned out to be slightly darker than in the photo on the product page.

The knit blend of cotton and modal (a type of rayon) is extremely soft and comfortable. The casual style is somewhat fitted through the upper torso nearly to the waist and then flares slightly toward the hemline. The neckline is scooped without being too low and the overall length is perfect for me. I think the three-quarter-length sleeves are a better look with this particular style than full-length sleeves would be.

I enjoy the look and feel of the knit fabric, although I do wish it was a slightly heavier weight. It launders well without shrinking due to the modal blended with the cotton. Depending upon the fit you prefer (very loose or somewhat fitting), I'd suggest ordering one to two sizes smaller than you'd usually wear since it seems to run big.

My only concern is that the modal blended into the cotton, while making the shirt softer, may make it more likely to pill and stretch out of shape. Only time will tell. I'll update this review if that happens.

I had never heard of 3 dot before however I will be looking for it from now on. I shop at Macy's, Chico's, Coldwater Creek and this shirt compares on the high end with those stores. Love the feel and the fit was perfect in a size medium. (5 stars for sure)

Perfect length, and really nice to wear to work. But it's a little on the thin side. I did want something lightweight for spring/summer, but this is a little flimsy. And for the price, it should be perfect. This shouldn't cost more than $25, in my opinion.

Three Dots top is perfect with 3/4 length sleeves and a nice A-line shape. Works perfectly with jeans and slacks and is very flattering to someone who can't wear sleeveless. Knit is soft and still cool. Recommend this brand!

The lighter colors in this shirt (I tried yellow & magnolia) are a little see-through, even though the fabric isn't overly thin. Wish they were a few inches longer or also made this style in a tunic-length. I will continue to buy this brand as its made in the USA, but the materials quality should be better for this price.

This top has a cute swingy style. Looks good with leggings and capris. However; and it is a big however, the top runs large and grows while you wear it. From a scoop neck to practically off the shoulder in two hours. The material is too thin. All in all this item is not up to Three Dots standard. Perhaps the "Red" added after Three Dots is an indication of their inferior line. Won't order again.

Love it. I wear it all the time and receive great compliments. It washes great and the material is soft and easily managed after wash. No need to iron.

I am 5'7" and wear small sizes. This top in size Small fits across my shoulders. Because the sleeves are three-quarter, the sleeve length is fine. The length from shoulder to hem is not as long on me as it is on the model. I had hoped it would cover sufficiently for leggings. In my opinion it does not. The fabric is light. The fit is loose. The Cabaret pink color is as pictured.

This shirt is exactly like the picture. I thought it was a great shirt for $18, I got the black, but if I paid $60 I would not be happy. I am 5'6 and 150 ilbs. I got the medium and it fits just like the pic in length and swinginess ( yes I know not a word ). I did not think this shirt was too thin, I also love the sleeves! So in closing the black is a good buy for $18 but not $60.
