I was really disappointed in the sound quality of these headphones. They looked real cool, packaging was pretty sweet in stores and i read decent reviews but I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. The bass isn't very good and the earbuds fit very strangely in ear (even with trying all different sizes). While I like the idea of no tangle wires, you can hear the friction echo in your ears when they rub against your clothes (SO annoying). I will never buy headphones again without trying them out first hand. Check out V-Moda instead!

First of all, I'm tired of reading reviews about the fit of this or any earbud style headphone. Everyone's ear canals are different! That is just the facts of life when looking at this type of headphone. Personally, I find the fit of the stock earpieces to be fine. I have tried the Comply tips and found then to be also of good quality (although I tire of squishing them before inserting and they tend to get pretty dirty). If the Jays won't fit, try another brand. I'm sure at this point that there is no universal design that fits everyone.
With that out of the way... I find these to be great sounding earbuds. They have rich detail with a bit of oomph on the low end (personally I like a bass heavy earbud, the majority of the time I'm wearing them on a noisy bus or outside where a more balanced "audiophile" balance would only be drowned out, even with a good seal). The ribbon cables are a godsend, they never tangle! Yes, they are a bit heavy and yes, they transmit a bit of noise when bouncing around, I wouldn't recommend them to joggers.
I've used them often for phone calls and have never had any complaints about noise or clarity from people at the other end, I'm not sure what other negative reviewers have been doing?
My one big knock is that after two years of heavy use the right earbud has shorted out at the plug. I thought the good looking quality construction would avoid this, but..? I can honestly say that over the last twenty years I've yet to find a pair that didn't eventually go out (and I've had Sony, Klipsch, V-Moda, Sennheiser etc...). That's it, buy and enjoy...

I bought these earphones for my son.
He used them almost 24/7 and to no surprise the connection between the plug and flat cable started to intermittently not working after 6 months of continuous use.
Fortunately, the warranty for this product is 1 year. But make sure you contact a-Jays corporate first to get a speedy replacements (You would get a run around with re-sellers). The a-Jays corporate hooked us up with the main US distributor and within a week or so we got our replacement.

The A-JAYS are all around awesome! They have great sound quality, nice and soft yet cymbals still stand out. They really are tangle resistant, but with the size of the cord, they are a little heavier than other brands. Despite the weight, I would choose these over beats, sony, or skull candy.

I got these headphones a few months ago and really enjoy them! The tangle-free wires are great for putting them in your pocket for on-the-go, the sound quality is excellent, and the bass is surprisingly good for earbuds. The thing is, the fit is an issue for me.. However, for only a few dollars you can buy comply foam tips for these, and they NEVER fall out! Another "issue" you might consider is the color. Yes, it's white, so obviously it is easy to get dirty and is easily visible when it is, but for some reason, it doesn't stain at all. Rub some spit on it and your good to go! Based on it's overall quality, I definitely would recommend these earphones to anyone who wants great sound quality, good bass, and tangle-free wires on a budget.

Didn't work for me. If you have a battery case or another case for iPhone - I tried on both my phone and my wife's - the adapter would not plug into the iPhone. So it was rendered useless from Day 1.

Once I managed to test it with my wife's case and iPhone, there was a lot of rustling sound and static if you move the cable around.

On the sound, audiophile front, the sound was a bit bright and the bass was lacking. Meh sound.

Way better than anything i have ever used. After using these, you will never go back to anything else. Very Highly recommended.
Pros: Sound quality, Tangle free works, light, longer than apple headphones.
Cons: fit in ear is not good for sharing with others but its perfect for yourself

Just received these today! They are the best ear buds I have ever heard. Great bass response, not tin-y or too treble-y. Great fit (I removed the medium gels and use the small gels). - I've tried Sony, Skull Candy, and many others over the years. THESE are the real deal! Great quality. You can listen with them for longer periods of time without experiencing "ear fatigue". WONDERFUL PRODUCT!
