I was beginning to have ankle pains while running. Oddly enough, around the 4 miile mark. I love to run so I hated the idea of having to stop. This helped so much! I could run further with little discomfort. And I could hardly tell I was wearing it. I have had others that would dig into my foot and cause a totally different pain. plan on getting more to trade out!

I bought this along with three other compression garments for help controlling the swelling while my broken ankle is healing. I thought it would be shaped more like an "L" shape but it's straight. This is my 2nd favorite to use but after about 6 hours wearing, because of seams, it becomes uncomfortable. Seems well made but I wish it were more comfortable to wear and slightly longer for better overall compression.

Finally compression for just where it hurts... the ankle. I bought three pairs beige, pink and black. I can wear these to bed and feel comfy all night. I had left ankle surgery 2 years ago and due to my age I still have some pain. I wear one on my left ankle when I run, no problems with slipping they stay in place. Fit well enough under a sock with out being too bulky and just peek over the sock... me likey very much

this works nicely for my plantars fasciitis...but beware the seam...it may agitate your foot...I wear the seam on top of the foot and it does well...I bought this in gray as well...I have had it on...the gray one that is for about 7 hours right now and it still feels comfortable...I wear a mens size 8 shoe and got the sm/med support

I had PCL reconstruction on my knee 2 years ago but everything below the knee, ankles and foot seem to swell up easily after physical activity. I've started running and sometimes put in 30 miles a week, my ankle works quite a bit to compensate for the repaired PCL which will only ever be about 80% so my ankle works a lot to stabilize my leg sometimes. I wear the Zensah Ankle Support during my runs and it seems to help with the recovery and compression of the ankle.

It is certainly is not a brace or tape job, it's a compression sleeve for the ankle. So far I've been happy with it, it is thin enough to wear with my shoes, under my socks and comfortable enough not to notice during a 10 mile run. It is good construction just like their leg compression sleeves. My ankle seemed to not be as taxed after the run but wouldn't use it as a substitute for an ankle brace or tape job if that is the amount of support your require after an injury. I use this more for injury prevention and recovery. I just would like to add that ankle and lower leg strengthening exercises help a lot in recovery and prevention of injury as well.

I've battled shin issues for over ten years. It provides the compression needed, but will not help those who only have shin issues on one leg and not the other. I ran with my compression ankle support and instead of helping suppress the pain on the one leg it caused me to change my stride and mess up my other leg. Since the real issue is with my ankle, I really need to strengthen it, which is something the compression band will not allow.

It is not good for running, but good to wear for every-other-day use.

I have very weak ankles due to multiple ankle rolls/sprains. I have ligament damage and these are GREAT! I only had one for my worst ankle and have recently bought a second matching one. It's perfectly supportive without being totally restraining! They are very comfortable and easy slip on before a workout... then to rinse and hang to dry after workouts.

This was a total waste of money for me. For one thing it needs to be longer. When I got it on, the top started shrinking down toward the ankle. I couldn't get it to stay up.

Have had this product for 2 weeks and upper cuff is already separating/tearing. Have used it properly and with care so I don't expect it to fail like this.
Otherwise the material looks very good and durable but......

When I first looked at it, there was a small area where seam looked imperfect. Thought it was a minor defect. After three usage, it was done.
