I have had every version of this shoe since 2004. This is by far the best version. They have cut down on some of the bulk, streamlined the shoe and perfected the design. I have to knee injuries and have run injury free in these. I really enjoy them. I am contemplating buying a lifetime supply. They are great for sprints and distance work, very comfortable.

My first pair of NB 1260's and so far have been pleased. An over-pronator and heel striker, after 6 years I finally gave up on the Brooks because of complete erosion of the heels before 300 hundred miles. Time will tell on these NB, but I am pleased to be back with the company that blesses us with the best cushioned running shoes on the market.

These are high quality shoes. Very comfortable and well-designed as well. Good for both daily walking and jogging. Highly recommended.

The V2 is the tightest most painful NB I've ever tried on. They got the toe box all wrong if repeat business makes a difference. I generally purchase 5-6 pairs of NB each year, most recently the 1260 series. I'm an active runner and triathlete. I weigh in around 190#. Comfort is important. Prior to the redesign every pair of 1260's and their predecessors fit so well I could break them in on a 6-10 mile run. It looks like the Brooks Adrenaline will become my new go to shoe.

Last year, I picked up a pair of Brooks Adrenaline 12s, and after running in those a few times, thought "I'll just wear the Adrenaline series for the rest of my life". They were awesome, and the narrow width fit me perfectly. Fast forward to this year, the 12s have been discontinued, I tried the 13s - same size, same width - but it just didn't feel right. Maybe it was shorter in length, maybe the shape wasn't quite the same, whatever it was, I didn't like it.

After trying on countless other pairs and testing them out on the store treadmill, the associate brought out a pair of M1260v2. I don't normally get shoes more expensive than $120, but I figured I'd give these $150 kicks a whirl. Even though they were normal width, they fit my narrow feet pretty comfortably. The upper of the shoe felt like a pillow hugging my foot, and the sole was firm enough that I could run pretty efficiently.

I went for the splurge and paid full price (the amenities and advice at the running store are worth it IMO) and these shoes quickly became my go-to for long runs and races. They are extremely comfortable over distance (up to 18 miles so far) but are also light enough for mid-distance races (done a couple 5k and a 10k, all in the 7 min/mile range).

Now that they're on Amazon at a discount of almost 50%, I can't not buy another pair. I don't know what the M1260 will be like next year, so I may even go for a third.

If this shoe fits your style of running (overpronator, mid-long distance), definitely give them a try. This is a total steal.

These are good shoes but they run smaller than any of my other running shoes. They are well designed and comfortable but buy a half size bigger than you normally would. This shoe continues New Balance shoes history of high quality. The shoes always outlast other brands I've tried offsetting the higher New Balance cost.

My husband has a deformed foot and requires a shoe that provides comfort and stability. His podiatrist was the one who specifically recommended this show. We hope Amazon will continue to carry it.

Great sneaker. I usually get the 2E in width. This sneaker tends to run a little tighter than most, but the mesh gives so it all works out. Great support.

NB fit and long term comfort for the daily runner is so good, you don't even feel the shoe. My first day use of these running shoes had me stopping to check the lacing to make sure they were not too loose because my feet felt so free. Lacing was perfect, fit was perfect. I was smiling during my whole run. When I was asked how I liked my first run in the new shoes, I answered, "accept for the soles protecting me from the ground, I would have sworn that I was not wearing any shoes." I have now been running daily with my new shoes for a week and for the first time in years, I have no red rubbing areas. I threw away my running shoes from you know who…I will only purchase NB in the future.

been running in New Balance for last 30 years. Migrated to 1226 which changed to 1260 and then 1260V2. Most comfortable running shoes (I've worn Nike, Etonics, Brooks, ASICS) I've ever used.
