I got the phone from HassleFreeCell, fast shipping, the photo is a "xperia s" but as the title say you will get your "xperia go", in the box a "Stereo Headset MH410c" even a microsim adapter and what may be confused by a chinese wall plug is a "Quick Charger EP881" you can google it to find more about, I think thats the only con even so HassleFreeCell sent me an adapter for that in the sheath (nice touch) but it was a poor quality one, it didn't work for me.

About the phone, is all you heard about it, im happy with my purchase.

EDIT: 2014
More than a year have passed, the actualizations mess up the phone, forums are full with problems little help from Sony, the thing i hate the most I can't have a long conversation with it it reaches 40ºC and is uncomfortable to hold it next to your ear, and just 512mb of Ram... yes is water proof but it have usb conectivity issues after upgrade, camera is slow, i have to wait like 30 sec to make a call.

I am using this phone for a month. It is a good phone but has negative things like everything.
Positive points:
- Perfectly fit to your hand so it is very easy to use and reach every corner of the screen.
- Pretty thin and light
- Has dual core 1 ghz processor so it is fast
- Very easy to use keyboard
- For its price range this the best phone
- Camera is pretty good
- Still working under the water
Negative points:
- Has 512 mb ram and it is not enough
- Back cover doesn't feel good
- Has still gingerbread. it is going to be ice cream sandwich but don't know when.

At the end, it is a perfect phone for its price but if you have money you can buy a phone which has 1 gb ram cuz 512 mb ram is not enough.

This is a great phone, except it doesn't come with a front facing camera. Love the fact that its dustproof and water resistant and comes with scratch resistant screen. My problem when I got this phone was that it's headset didn't work with the phone which is both odd and frustrating since I use the headsets alot when I'm on the go. That alone makes this for me at least, a bad buy since the accessories should be compatible with it. Factory unlocked is great since I can use this phone with any carrier and it is a fast phone, haven't seen any lag times in switching screens and apps.

This phone is great for my needs, the water and dust resistance is amazing! But these guys sent me the Chinese version...I now own a Chinese wall plug for my phone...compleatly worthless. At least it charges via USB as well and it wasn't difficult to change the phone to English settings, the other plus is I now know how to use it to text Japanese, but really wish that they would have at least specified on the page because now I have to wait a week for a USA friendly plug that I ordered to come in and had to pay some extra cash for it. Other than that, this phone is gorgeous, came in great condition, and meets all the specs. Doesn't lag, nice camera, and super cute and thin!

I got the yellow bumblebee sony xperia go and had it for 2 wks now. When it first came i dunked it in a glass of water and my mom almost had a heart attack (she didn't know it was waterproof). I turned the music on and let it stay in the water and my dad was so impressed he wanted to get one (my dad doesnt like to use cellphones btw). Tried scratching the display with scissors and it got no mark at all! My brother wanted to buy 1 too. Couldnt resist showing it off to my co-workers and i put it in a glass of water at work. Beats the hell out of their samsungs and iphones!!! Opened the back cover and there was some water in it so i had to dab it with tissue esp. In the speakers. U have to really open and dry it after u get it wet though. The yellow back cover is smooth and glossy but it's plastic and not scratchproof (boo). The cover doesnt seem to fit with the sides of the phone coz it keeps on bulging. The glass display is not shatterproof so dont drop it in concrete. In sony's vid the girl threw it in a hill of flour so it acted like a cushion to the phone. The ports are attached by a small plastic which seems to be easily breakable. The display is ok with videos but with pictures u can see its pixelated (like the iphone 3gs). 5mp camera is ok and video res is great. Battery really sucks. It lasts only 1 day with wifi on (as most phones do anyway) but it can last 3-4 days with easy battery saver just for texting and calling only. (that's what cellphones are made for!!) and anyways i got an ipod to play with. for me the speakers are strong enough (am not really an audiophile). No need for 2nd camera also. Was considering to buy acro s but this one won me over because of its size and its ip67. Its almost the same as my ipod touch 4g and fits my hand easily. Not having any problems with network so im not considering to upgrade its firmware. Maybe those with microsimcards are the ones having problems because mine is just the regular size. My only problem is it keeps flashing when its locked which may drain the battery. Overall, im really happy with this phone because i keep breaking cellphones due to my clumsiness. Im not afraid to bring it in the bathroom or swimming with it in my pocket. Haha.. Would i buy it again? Definitely! I love my bumblee phone!!

This is hands down overall the best phone I've ever had. Being an active person I've taken this thing mountain biking, paddleboarding, canoeing, skateboarding, and running and it's still going! It's been thrown around quite a bit and has survived many falls where I expected to pick up a shattered screen and it didn't even have a scratch. The camera takes high quality pictures and videos. Android runs really well and is definitely the way to go with all the different apps for all I do (cars, bikes, finances, music, knitting). I don't use data too often but when I do it's always there when I want it and it looks very sleek and elegant (not what you'd expect with this level of durability). Definitely unique as well, I haven't seen anybody else with an Xperia and I've had 2. If you're active and looking for a phone that won't slow you down this is it! My only minor gripe is Sony's weird female jack they use which isn't always compatible with the controls on some headsets. Just find the right one that has an adapter like I did and you're good!

ALL US USERS. This phone does NOT work on U.S. 3g networks or anything higher and they DO NOT specify that on the product you will have to get internet settings manually and it will only run on the EDGE network which is the OLD cell phone internet from like 10 years ago. The internet is so slow even at full bars that all the HD streaming and internet page features the phone has to offer become useless. BE AWARE OF THIS BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT ADVERTISE IT. Even though they put that it works in every state in the world they wasnt talking about the 3g network they only mean the phone usage.

I've had this phone for 6 month now and it works great. It's compact (i didn't want any 4+ inches screen, too big), fast, light.
Sony keeps updating the software (jelly bean and Xperia layer updates recently released) and some of their softwares are good (free TrackID, Walkman, Astro file manager)

Three small negative points:
1/ the camera is not great. It lacks options and quality is just ok. I don't mind much though, if i want good photos i use a real camera... Still they could have added a picture button to the side (bothered me when i was trying to take pictures underwater where the touch screen wasn't very responsive haha)
2/ the screen resolution isn't high either. Doesn't really bother me. I don't wanna read font size 6 on my browser anyway.
3/ the frequency bands it uses are not compatible with Tmobile's 3G or 4G. Here's why: the phone uses the following, 2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 - 3G Network HSDPA 900 / 2100 while Tmobile uses 1700 / 2100 for it's 3G and 4G.
(source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T-Mobile_US#Radio_frequency_spectrum_chart )
Although the good thing with an unlocked phone is that i can change carriers anytime... I still need to figure out who makes 3G over those bands.

Other than that, great phone! The reasonable price (230$), shock/water-resistance (but not really -proof!), compactness, unlocked, good battery life, are really the features that convinced me.

The phone is great, i really have no much to say about it. The touchscreen is very sensitive, the battery life is good (about 2days of semi-constat usage), The processor is pretty good, doesn't freeze with games or other stuff.
The only thing about this phone that people most of the times don't know is the difference between ST27i and ST27a. They work in different bands. Take a look below and ask your carrier which band they work on.

ST27i - HSDPA 900 / 2100
ST27a - HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100
