First off, this is a decent deal. If you're craving for a 27 inch all-in-one under $1000 this is the deal. If you can settle for onboard graphics which is not as high-end as it should be, and can settle for the dual core i5 processor, then I'll say, "go for it". But here's the advantages and drawbacks:

Pros:
- 27 inch gigantor screen
- 3rd gen core i5
- responsive and fast
- comes with windows 8

Cons:
- poor gaming performance
- dual core processor
- on board graphics
- non touch
- poor keyboard

And the reason I took one-star off from it was:
I had serious doubt whether this item was brand new or not since one of the manuals was missing in it. I contacted amazon, and their service representative assure me this is a brand new product and I can check it with the manufacturer. It was more than reasonable and I got compensated for the missing manual as well.

Bottom line:
If you're looking for a big ass computer with classy look, this is a good option. But, if you're a hardcore gamer, this one should be left alone. The keyboard has really been a disaster, looks like a cheap $10 keyboard and doesnt go with the big screen.

Update:
It ran fine without any major issues till August 2014 (13 months) and then the wifi stopped working. Dell customer care experience was a nightmare. Friendly folks from Philippines had no idea what he was doing and at one point I decided to use alternate channel. I find another Dell rep via twitter and he helped me place a warranty claim and replace the wifi. Very hectic process and not very professional when it comes to customer support. My computer was gone for 17 days and came back with a huge scratch on the screen. Reducing to two-star for this experience. Initially I gave it a 3-star.

Awesome computer. The screen is not only large, but bright and with high resolution. The unit is definitely faster than any other desktop I've used. Plus, there is even an affordable option for a version of this computer with a touch screen for those looking to use the touch-friendly Windows 8 interface.

Great product and great price! Arrived in a perfect condition and to be honest we don't miss a touch screen (as on a newer models) at all. I really think that touch interface is more suited for a tabled than a desktop. Anyway I'm a truly satisfied customer with this purchase.

This is a very nice computer but not exactly what I thought I was getting. The Attached spec sheet from Dell showed it as being a touch screen so I was rather surprised when I received it and it was not a touch screen. In fairness to Amazon their description did say non-touchscreen but I did not see that until after received it and set it up. When the touch did not work I looked at the listing again on Amazon to find that I had purchased a non-touch model. The Dell documentation that shows this model number as a touch screen should be removed from the site!

Very nice all-in-one for all your office work needs either at home or at work. Do not expect equally nice gaming. If gaming is what you are looking for then buy the one with dedicated graphics chip. Built-in Intel graphics 4000 isn't up to it, however, it is quite adequate for office apps. Would be nice to have Windows 7 rather than Windows 8 installed, but I am not going to start another debate on that. Also this PC is fully accessible for all kinds of hardware upgrades with the full instruction set outlined in the Dell manual. This is not something you can easily do on iMacs (if I am correct, memory is the only thing you can officially upgrade on iMac). Overall quite recommended.
