I wear a size 27 waist x 30 length in the Sofia Skinny style. I am just under 5'5" and 116lb, a mesomorphic cyclist with large thighs and thick calves. Waist 26", hips 34". I've owned these for about two months.

The Sofia Skinny style has a higher back rise to prevent gaping when you sit or bend over. The waistline, which rests an inch below the navel, is smaller than the wide hip and butt, unlike most jeans that don't taper at all and therefore slip down. It has skinny legs, but it's not very skinny at the ankles, as you can see in the stock photo. The wash is a very dark navy. Turn them inside out and machine wash cold, preferably also before wearing--I washed them before wearing and they leaked a substantial amount of dye and fibers.

These are light- to medium-weight like most LB jeans, while the Sofia Skinny Super Soft Stretch in Dark Faye is medium- to heavy-weight, so get that one if you want a softer, warmer jean.

This jean is crisp and thin, somewhat stretchy, but becomes scratchy when sweaty. It is also constructed less well--one leg's seam is sewn slightly misaligned toward the front, and it tapers less at the waist, so it falls down a little on my hips over the day. It also fits noticeably smaller than my Sofia Skinny Super Soft Stretch in Dark Faye in the same size and length. They took a couple millimeters off every dimension on this one.

I was dismayed at the inconsistency between these same cuts. This one has a different material composition (only 80% cotton) and made in Indonesia, when the Super Soft Stretch (97% cotton) is made in Mexico. Is it worth the sale price? Probably, if it fits you well. Is it worth the full retail price of $99? I don't think so--there are better LB jeans.

None of the other "curvy" or "slightly curvy" styles (Lola, Lolita, Sweet) by Lucky Brand fit my shape, so your mileage may vary, of course. Visit a store and try them on, then return to Amazon to buy, because there are more styles and colors at more reasonable prices here.

Please do not mark as "not helpful" just because you disagree, because it does not help other shoppers to only see glowing and incomplete reviews. I attempt to give honest, thorough opinions of products, and of course everyone's opinions will be different.

I have always loved Lucky Brand Jeans, but lets face it, they are not cheap. I exclusively wear Lucky jeans and my last big stock up on jeans was way back in 2010. Back then, Lucky jeans were still MADE IN USA, had a thick, buttery soft denim, and just a slight stretch in the fabric. The denim had a good weight to it as well. Since 2010, production of Lucky jeans was moved over seas to China and Mexico, and the product has definitely suffered although the price remained the same.

These jeans are made of a very, VERY, thin scratchy denim and have WAY to much stretch! I don't like the way they feel, wear, OR that I can't even feel good about my purchase supporting the american economy. Unfortunately, I would pass on these jeans unless you get a great deal on them :(

I'm tall (5'10') which makes finding jeans almost impossible. Thankfully the 34" length fit perfectly. As far as waist measurement, I usually wear a size four and a size 27 fit perfectly. The fabric is nice quality, not super thin (so that I don't worry about ripping them every time I put them on), but not worker jean thick. Also, the wash of the jeans is nice and dark, and doesn't rub off on anything. For skinny jeans, I like them to be nice and skinny on the butt/thigh, but have a bit of room at the ankle (not flare, but not leggings, if that makes sense). These are exactly what I have been looking for for months. Not every curve of my calves show, but they are still skinny enough to wear with knee-high boots without the tucking in wrinkles that appear with non-skinny jeans.

Fabulous color, dark, even wash that hasn't faded. Didn't shrink in the wash. I usually wear a 29x34 but anticipating a little shrinkage ordered a 30x34. I'm glad I did because this fit tend to run small. I ordered another pair of Lucky Brand jeans in a different style and ordered them true to size (again a 29x34) and they fit too big, go figure, but as far as I can tell these run on the small side.

I'm 5'9 and about 160, my inseam is quite long, and I'm wide in the butt/hips region, I got the 30x34 (I'm between a size 8 and 10), they fit perfectly and even have some room at the bottom (as pictured) for more leg without being too low-rise or forming a gap on top. Awesome jeans!

Love these jeans. They are not too low or too high at waist. I can sit and bend over without feeling exposed. Yet the skinny leg is a great flattering style. They wash well and length is great

They have a great butt lifting fit and lots of stretch. Being 5'9", I bought the 34" length and they bunch comfortably around my ankles.

I liked them so much I bought a second pair as a back-up!

I bought these jeans for my wife, they are now her favorite pair of jeans. They have lots of stretch in them so since she's between 2 sizes I opted for the lower number. Perfect fit!
