This ACU jacket is very nice and very similar to the ones I was issued. It is made of the same materials and looks great too. I believe the collar velcros are switched on this version but it is nothing major. You might have to iron it down because it tends to stick out since it will be brand new.

If you are looking for a replacement ACU top then these will do the trick. I have found nothing wrong with them.

The only differance you can SEE between this top and the ones issued to me are that these sleeves have buttons rather than velcrow. Once the sleeve is buttoned you cannot tell the differance at all. It is not as heavy weight as issue tops which will make it cooler in the summer. It is a cotton blend verses what the Army issue tops are made of. Perfect for Garrison work; not sure I would buy these if I was deployed, but statewide garrison: save the money and buy these!

Great product, fits like a glove. The coat is made to fit and it has plenty of pockets. Looks like it was issued my the United States Goverment.

The jacket match the pants colorwise. They are sewn to ACU spec (I am retired Army, wore ACUs for my last few years). The thickness is similar to the winter weight BDUs.
The ONLY downside is that they DO NOT meet the Infrared criteria established by the military. In other words - do NOT wear these in a combat zone because you will light up like a Christmas tree under Infrared.

atacs is really amazing in the field but unfortunately to get a true sense of that, youll have to wear it amongst the brush. Ive placed myself against dirty fields, rock formations, urban environments and even vegetation based geography and this has stood up to the art of concealment better then I can rendition for you. I would recommend that this camo be used in mainly arid (no vegetation or fauna) or rocky environments. it will blend in somewhat with different environments but this is where its most effective. ill be ordering the set in FG next.

the quality and craftsmanship of the jacket is good. it will hold up to combat and prolonged field activity (and youll look badass doing it!) ive received numerous comments on the pattern (couldnt walk three feet at the del mar gun show without someone going off about "that dudes pants"). if youre considering a contemporary camo pattern with versatility I highly recommend ATACS.

ACU camo color is rite on and the sizing is darn accurate. Very good product! Worth the little higher price than the other brands that are out there. Little hint! When buying camo, make sure you stick with same brand and materiel otherwise your colors will not match. PROPPER is very good.

Not a bad ACU blouse! Light weight and breathable material. I would strongly recommend purchasing the trousers as well. I had difficulty trying to match this top to other bottoms, the camo pattern doesn't match up very well.

Made of lightweight rip stop material, and fits well. The sleeves seem a bit large at first, but the reason for this is that they were designed to accommodate armor and to regulate body heat. once you adjust the cuffs it feels just right. in addition to the shoulder pockets and 3 pen pocket on the cuff, this top also features velcro pockets on the elbows to accommodate drop in elbow pads. the only real difference i notice from standard issue is that the cuffs have buttons instead of velcro, though this isn't really noticeable since the buttons aren't visible from the outside. overall excellent, and worth the cash if you're looking for a good quality digital acu top.

Received ONE DAY after ordering! Tremendous!!! Excellent quality. All exactly as described. If you are not familiar with military wear, this may feel a little stiff at first due to all the velcro on the arms. But do not let that stop you from ordering this. Seems true to size. Follow PROPPER's sizing chart for best fit. Note that collar folds down in such a way to make it look like a regular collared shirt. This is not a "winter' coat but is probably good for Autumn & Spring wear and OK for summer. I live in Florida where restaurants, stores, etc. can be cold with A/C and this makes it comfortable in those cooler conditions.

Whether you are in Military, or -like me- supporting those who do/have serve(d), this is a great purchase. Tactical Distributers sent this overnight- at no extra cost. I WILL shop with them again. GOD Bless America!!! Plz support our country and vote for "change" in Nov. 2012.
