I know Dickies is a pretty well known brand, but I was still hesitant about ordering a shirt that had it's brand name on the front pocket. walking around with a shirt that says "Dickies" was not to appealing.

Outside of that fact, this shirt is very nice. The material is not the standard cotten you'll find at Fruit of the Loom or Hanes. It's a little thicker, more durable. It also feels a little more rugged, but not uncomfortably so. It feels like a mans shirt.

The size was appropriate and fit well. I ordered my normal size and have no regrets. This shirt was clearly made for men who aren't stick thin like a petite woman.

Overall for the cost of this shirt I am very pleased with it and wouldn't hesitate to buy another when the time comes.

Not enough people put their body dimensions on here to make sizing an unseen/unknown shirt easy.
I'm a guy - so I don't care if you know my specs - here they are:

6' 5" tall
310 lbs
23" technical torso measurement (back of neck to waist line)
21" armpit to waist line
54" chest
18" pythons (biceps for you skinny hipsters)

Usually I buy shirts in 2 XL, 2 XLT, or 3X.
Normally I buy shirts with the "tall" designation since my gut sticking out typically makes a "non-tall" shirt rise just to the point of showing skin when I lean back or reach up with my arm(s). No one wants to see that - unless that is your "thing"

I went with the 2XLT version of this as a baseline.

Results:
100% cotton shrinks even if it "preshrunk." Pre-shrunk does not shrink as much, but there is a noticeable shrink none the less.
New from package w/ no wash - length was fine - fit was snug, but not too much to show off the moobs or gut too badly.
First wash - length still fine - fit was too tight - moobs and gut sticking out like an over packed sausage - not flattering.
-You can pull the shirts to stretch it out to be less form fitting, but I don't want to mess with that after every wash.

Returned both 2 XLT's and went with a 3X regular length.
3X reg length is good enough (unless reaching with arms up as far as I can) - fit is quite loose on the moobs and gut (read comfortable and flattering), but not to tent proportions.

Shirt really is heavyweight and I love it. Can't see through it and looks like it will last a while, just like most Dickies items do!

Pocket is a touch too tight/small for my Galaxy S5 with case since they seamed in a dedicated pen/pencil pouch inside the total front pocket dimensions. As is, it is good enough to hold a couple pens or something along the size of a deck of cards.

Ask your grandma, mother, or wife for a seam ripper to remove the Dickies tag on the front pocket. If they are good with the stitch, ask them to rip out the dedicated pen/pencil pouch and the pocket becomes big enough for a smart phone.

I used to buy Fruit of the Loom Men's Short Sleeved Pocket T-Shirt from both the Normal and Best collections since they used to be available locally in a "mart" store. That Wal place doesn't carry the front pocket shirt in my sizes anymore so I found them here on Amazon. FotL changed their material/construction practices with this shirt recently and they are bad quality, even at $5-$8 a pop. They lasted me about 6 months of 1-2x/week use and one weekly washing before fabric was worn thin and piling badly. They are now dedicated "I don't care what happens to them work shirts"

I am a fan of Dickies items and I would say that these shirts display overall good quality and with some modifications done at home I would highly recommend them.

Shirt is thick and looks well constructed but not what I would consider "tall" by any standard. Not very happy.

It was worn prior to wash to verify that it was the same size as my other Dickies large tall pocket tees. After first wash in cold water and warm (not hot) dry it shrank three inches in length and two in the sleeves. The fabric also faded and felt rough. It was clearly inferior to the same product of other colors which I have. The seller refunded my money without taking back the shirt. I gave it to the local thrift store.

I have four of these T-shirts. I'm 6'6" and around 350 pounds. The XXX-Large/Tall fits me quite nicely, in fact there's a little room to spare. It's not at all tight. Unlike most T-shirts (and regular shirts, for that matter) I find it has a good length that's appropriate for my challenging verticality. The fabric is also not skimpy. I really love the pocket. It's lets me carry my cell phone or a pen or a carpenter's pencil or the like while I'm working. I would suggest that if carrying a cell phone that you do move it to a pants pocket if you have to bend over. I have mine in an OtterBox but the pocket is not a tight fit for the phone. I am always concerned that the phone will take a dive if I bend over too far.

All in all, a good shirt. It's comfortable. It fits. It has a pocket. It seems durable.

ordered a 3X tall shirt but this feels like a regular length 3X. I'll keep it as a back up for around the house wearing only.

My husband loves these, they're a very nice quality and really stand up to the wear and tear. He wears them to work and really puts them through the wringer!!! That being said, my husband is 6 feet tall and long waisted; until I found these he didn't have a single t-shirt, that would stay tucked in and would really ride up, anytime he did overhead work. These tuck in and stay that way!!!! That alone would have made them five star, for us; add to it a cotton, with a good weight, very well made and you have a real winner! By the time I'm done, he'll have nearly every color and two or three of some. Oh, they also have the pocket, on the chest; that's a must have for my husband and a lot of other men.

After the first wash (cold/cold) the shirt shrank a few inches in total length and at least two in the sleeves. The color (black) is also noticeably faded and rough. Quite disappointing. This shirt WAS perfect before the first wash and I was planning on buying a few more.

I purchased two of these shirts for my hubby. He likes to carry his phone in the pocket of his t-shirts, so I found these in his size and ordered them for a birthday gift. Unfortunately, I did not realize that the pocket was divided - with an area sewn up for a pen. This made the pocket too narrow for his phone, so I ended up returning the t-shirts to Amazon.
