I purchased this phone about a week ago to replace my Samsung Note 3 that messed up. I paid a hundred and $32 for the phone. I was thinking it was going to be some cheap Chinese phone.I can honestly say that it's the best hundred and thirty two dollars that I ever spent on the phone. It's, actually well made and doesn't feel cheap. The clarity of the 7 inch screen is not nearly as beautiful as the note 3 but however it is 7 inches and it does the job or get the job done anyway. in certain aspects it actually perform much better than my note 3 when it comes to the speed..i watch movies surf the Internet I also use Twitter and Facebook. I do video conferencing and watching live TVs also... all without any problems. The only real drawback is the camera ability inside, Outside it take good picture . I also can.not get the Bluetooth to work. Call quality is good but not excellent however listening to music and watch movies are beautiful. If you are one of those people who think a hundred dollar phone suppose to perform like a $600 or $700 dollar phone don't buy this because it doesn't. but if you want a good looking phone that perform most task better than normal this is the phone for you.

Update: I actually figured out how the Bluetooth works; it works flawlessly. Their were someone who comment that the phone doesn't work with Straight Talk, that's not true because I'm using Straight Talk. I just put in my sim card and it found the network without any problem. Talk, and text will work but you have to go into setting and set up a new APN in order to get data working. I'm still shock that I have such a good phone for a very few dollars. I have told several people were I purchased this phone because they were ask me about it.

Amazing device! Got my BLU yesterday and there are very few drawbacks.
1. I liked the ability to assign ringtones to callers. Can't do that YET, but a software update in the future could fix that.
2. Cases for this device are limited (only found a few on Amazon no where else) I did though find that the Galaxy Note 3 case is CLOSE. I put a stitch in each of the corners and had a custom case that also functions as a wallet! (no more purse)
3. Ok so it is NOT HD. Want HD get the 6. This is an intro device of this size as a phone. I found the picture very nice, and did note that the higher your internet speed the better the picture. (buffering may be the issue some are having)
There are the cons I can think of based on other reviews.
Now to how it's working for me!! The set up could not have been easier. (I still haven't opened the book the device asks you all the important questions) I use T-Mobile as my carrier on a prepaid account. I put my 4G SIM and a 32mgb Micro SD in the BLU fired it up, went thru the initial set up questions where it DOES ask you to set your preferred language, time zone, so forth. Within 2 minutes I was up and running 4G (even says 4G on my display). I borrowed a coworkers ATT card to see if that would work, and same thing it instantly picked up what network it was on and so forth.
I had saved my contacts to my SIM so moving those was easy enough.
I have had a field day on Amazon apps as well as Google Play. Got all the usual apps: facebook, ebay, so forth. downloaded and installed amazingly fast. Changing ringtones is a blast and the preloaded ones are even nice.
If you are an Android fan as I am you will kick yourself for NOT getting this amazing little device. I paid far more for my Galaxy and the BLU is faster and even easier to use. If you happen to be a Windows phone fan and are used to Windows 8.1 you will find this thing awesome. You IPhone people will kick yourself over how limited and restricted you have been.
The price on the BLU may make you think it's a "cheap" device. I have to argue that. It is NOT a power tablet and isn't sold as such, it is however a phablet. A functional phone and tablet in once device.
I have had no issue with call volume low. In fact at times I really have to turn mine down. It comes with a charger, headphones with inline mic (that also function as FM ant.. there's a RADIO built in!) and a screen protector. I think that was the most difficult part of my set up. I would suggest just take it to the mall and have one of those kiosk people install it or another one. I spent more time putting on my screen protector than set-up and installing all my apps combines! (maybe BLU could send it out with the screen protector installed).
Did I mention? It almost seems this device is sold exclusively on Amazon.. Kindle fans listen up.. the Kindle app WORKS on this device. Yep a Phone with Kindle for about the same price as some lower end Kindles and this is NOT lower end. And very low weight. (seems lighter than my Kindle to me).
I have sold 2 more of these devices today alone. Clients in my office saw mine today and went right on off to buy one themselves. Wish they were on the stock market (they're not, I looked) I would seriously keep an eye on them!
Overall. I would say it's worth far more than the asking price. If you have "issues" with your current phone carrier for voice and data services, those may carry over. Can't really speak for that. What I can say is I bought this to give it a try and after 2 days I have retired my Galaxy that I have loved dearly for a couple years.

Once again Blu products comes through! My Studio 7.0 arrived and once my Sim card from Metro was installed I found I had the best of both worlds! A smart phone with a 7 inch tablet! No more carrying two devices. The phone quality is great and the tablet is super fast and responsive. I downloaded a movie, (47 Ronin) and was amazed at the HD quality of the play! The phone is light weight and have had no problems with it in my pocket while at work.

STOP!!! Do NOT buy this POS!! STOP!! This is an edited review. Please know that at first, I was tickled and totally happy with my AMAZING Studio 7" phone. HOWEVER!! READ THIS!! After owning the device for 3 days and taking the uttermost care of it, it STOPPED WORKING! Now, please also know that I am a professional network engineer certified with Cisco and Microsoft working in the field since 1999. I rather "understand" basic electronics and geek stuff to a large degree. So, this isn't a story about some idiot sitting on his phone. The phone cut off and WILL NOT power back on! It won't charge and when I plug the charger in, NOTHING happens, which means, even if the phone was OFF, it should still charge. It does NOT!
The Phone is WORTHLESS. I'm out $130 along with all the hassle of replacing this device and the trouble of find a new, REAL phone service provider. There is NO warranty and no way to get this phone repaired without additional expense to me. Please Do NOT purchase this total piece of crap. I, too, ignored the reviews stating the exact same thing. The phone works for about 3 days and that's it!

I was using a Samsung galaxy s3 but wanted a model with a bigger screen for navigation purposes but all the Samsung phones with bigger screens are just way too expensive. So I was looking around and found the blue studio 7.0 d700a. Let me just say this Samsung MOVE OVER! THIS TABLET PHONE IS SIMPLY AWESOME! IT HAS ALL THE GREAT FEATURES OF A TOP OF THE LINE ANDROID PHONE AND THE SCREEN IS A BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL HD DISPLAY. WITH 1GB RAM AND DUAL CORE PROCESSOR. IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A PHONE WITH A HUGE SCREEN BUT YOU DON'T WANT TO SPEND 400 TO 600+ DOLLARS ON A BRAND NAME PHONE LIKE SAMSUNG THIS IN MY OPINION IS THE BEST OPTION ITS AWESOME AND FAST! JUST GET IT YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID!

Color: GreyVine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? )
I own both Android and iPhone devices and give the slight edge to Android phones. Both operating systems do what I want equally well. This new BLU Studio phone works quickly with the Android 4.4 os. Camera works well. A big plus with this is that you can add a micro sd card so that you can store a ton of music, apps, photos, documents, and even videos. This is a great feature that I feel is a must. Picture on this is very good. Speakers are ok but not great, about what you would expect from a phone. This has a nice look and design to it. For the price this is a very good buy if you don't want to spend money on a higher priced brand. The one thing to keep in mind is the size. It is bigger than most mobile phones. It falls into the phablet category which I like. Tablets are too big for me and iPhones too small. This BLU Studio and the HTC 816 are the type of devices I prefer now. Great for texting and viewing online content on the go.

I have worked with this device for two weeks and I'm fairly happy with it. While the build and tech are solid for a sub $150 device be aware that you might run into issues. The first thing everyone needs to do is charge the device fully, I let mine charge over night. As with most new devices I recommend skipping the setup and factory resetting the device. Also make sure to check the Android version is at 4.4.x. Once the factory reset is complete, go to settings > About phone > tap the "Build number" 10x's. Once the developer settings are active go into Developer settings > Select Runtime > use ART. Let the phone reboot and do it's thing. ART is the new Android runtime and after turning the setting on myself most of the lagging between opening apps and such were reduced.

The screen is definitely the down side to the device. Low resolution and horrible on the viewing angles when in landscape mode. However it is usable and decent. The speaker is a little tiny but work well enough for ringtones. There is a noticeable lag but coming from a Nexus 5/6 I would take that comment with a grain of salt.

For those of you who have issues with the "sleep of death" where the screen doesn't turn on and/or the charging LED doesn't come on when plugged in. Try this: 1. Using a paper clip press the button in the hole between the power and Volume up keys. Usually this is the same as pulling the battery out and putting it back in. But since it is a sealed battery this is what you have to do. 2. If you don't have a paperclip try and press POWER+Volume Up+ Volume Down all at the same time and hold for 20 seconds. In most cases the tablet will go into a special boot mode. Select "normal" by using the volume down button and when ready press the volume up button or power (I forget which but it tells you on the screen) Both methods have been able to power on the device for me the two times the "sleep of death" occurred. This is not necessarily a problem BLU created but more of an issue with Android devices in general. Hope this helps!

PRO's: Great tablet for the price, great weight and shape for a tablet, can't beat the price for the equipment. Works on T-Mobile in the Washington DC metro area to Baltimore area without any issue on 4G (3.5G HSPA+ best speed test results put it around 20MBS down)

CON's: Uses full sized SIM (most of the newer devices are using mini/nano SIMS), Screen lacks resolution and hard to view when in landscape, need to do tweaking (no rooting) to make experience better.
