From the supplier: A study was conducted through the College of Education at Texas Tech University on the adult thinking and professional learning processes of educational leaders in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade schools. The goal was to produce a CD-ROM for a case simulator library to be used by school administrators to assess their careers and professional growth based on National Policy Board for Educational Administration Standards. The Administrator Case Simulation (ACS) CD-ROM uses two-dimensional video much like that used in flight simulators to teach decision making. The multimedia environment provides school leaders with the opportunity to test and build leadership skills. The CD-ROM was tested in the spring and summer of 1997. ACS received preliminary success in providing a unique learning opportunity, but more research on the project is required as it continues.
