push pull configureration i installed it in my pc and the optional fan needs to be connected to the Power supply directly?

Your best bet is to get a fan with a 3-pin connector and plug it into one of the "case fan" headers on your mother board, then you can set the speed/temp profile in your BIOS like you do for the CPU fan. You could also buy a 4-pin molex fan and plug it into the power supply as you mentioned.

Last, you could get a Y adapter to run it off the 3/4-pin "cpu fan" header on the board but I would not suggest that.
