I love the story of Gone with the Wind and have read it several times in English over the years as well as having seen the movie several times. So I thought I'd enjoy reading it again in Spanish to keep my skills up. The only thing that has slowed down my progress--the tome weighs 5 lbs, and the print is tiny, tiny. I will keep plowing along, but it has removed a lot of the pleasure. I should have known that over 1000 pages would weigh a lot. Great for those with young eyes and strong hands. If you're a native speaker or student of Spanish, READ IT! because it is a classic, even if not factually true.

I read this story before, and although that time it took me about a month, this time I devoured it in 2 weeks. Spanish is my first language so it was easier for me. Great translation, and the story...Brilliant.
