Wish I had ordered this sooner!
I am one of those annoying ice-chewers, and I had been using a kitchen knife to break up blocks of ice into bite-size pieces. I should have ordered this ice pick a long time ago! It is super sharp, requiring little effort to use, and the heavy base makes it easy to handle. I am completely satisifed with this product and would recommend it to anyone.

Needed to be fixed.
The quality appears to be good, but the assembly was not. The retainer ring at the handle-end of the pick fell off as I took it out of the bag. It can be repaired with some glue, but not what you want to have happen as you open the bag.

We camp a lot and like to take blocks of ice as they last longer and yet, we need chunks of it now and then. This ice pick is very heavy duty and has a great handle to hang on to. This is the best one we have ever had.

I looked and looked at the stores for what I thought was a simple need for an ice pick and couldn't find one. This pick is just what I was looking for and I really like the handle on this particular pick.
