This review is from: The railfan guide to Austria (Paperback)
Drury's books are essential for folks who want to see Europe from a train, which can be the best view. His occasional disorganization can seem a bit quirky, but if you have any interest in taking a railfan vacation (based more on the travel than the destination) then this book is a must.Don't expect this book to be a real guide to schedules and such; it's more about the joy of riding some of the most beautiful rails in the world. If you're an experienced European rail traveller, this will add some very interesting details about the history and logic behind the lines to your journey.
