This review is from: A re-appraisal of Patanjali's Yoga-sutras in the light of the Buddha's teaching (Paperback)
I had learned yoga asana and pranayama before I learned vipassana. I always had curiosity why both, Pantanjali and the Buddha called their teaching as eightfold path (ashtanga yoga and ariyo attangiko maggo). This book really helps the student with yoga background understand the similarities and differences between ashtanga yoga and ariyo attangiko maggo. I have met several yoga students who took vipassana courses and this book really helps them.
