...but attracts hair and fuzzies like crazy! These iSkin covers do fit like a second skin, but they will look like rectangular Tribbles if you have pets. They attract hair like crazy. The non-slip screen protectors are great for protecting the delicate screen, but the clips are not low-profile enough, in my opinion and too hard to remove if you want to put the whole thing in your pocket. The small flap on the bottom lets you charge your iPod without removing it from the case.

I bought one of these at the same time as the iPod because I kept hearing how easily it scratches--and had to wait an extra two weeks for the whole order. However, it was worth it to not have the iPod slip out of my hands and break--I mostly carry the iPod as I walk, and this skin makes it very comfortable and easy to do.

It does attract fuzz quite a bit, but that seems to wear off after a while--this is not a major detractor to me. (I have cats. I live with fuzz.) The clip could be better if it were a spring clip or stronger, but it works for walking around, and removes easily enough. The screen protector does scratch easily, but does a good job of protecting the iPod in general.

All these things are minimal, and I've been really happy with how much it's protected my music investment.

The big problem I've found is that with the skin on, it's impossible to put it in a dock for external speakers--I had to take it out of the skin, and that's a hassle. If anyone has suggestions about cables that would help, or something similar, I'd love to hear it.

Product gives ample room to get to all the buttons as well as protects the unit well. I bought it to protect the ipod from scratches. It has done a good job in the 5 weeks that I have had it. I wish that it fit into my Itrips with the skin on though. That is my only complaint.

I bought this case because the only thing I didn't like about the iPod was the color. <br /> My advice is that if you don't need the belt clip, take it off because it will scratch the back of your iPod, and if you still have it, leave the click wheel protective plastic on to make it easier to clean. This case does get rather dirty because of the material, it's prone to getting dusty and dirty, but a damp paper towl will clean it off.

Looks great, but the other reviewer is correct: It attracts all kinds of hair. Nothing more embarassing than having to pick off all manner of hairs from the new ipod when showing it to coworkers and friends.

Maybe the other colors don't show the fuzz as much as this black model? Maybe fuzz is the new black?

Anyway, if you buy this, just make sure it doesn't touch the carpet or the pet.

I just put my 30gig Ipod photo into this case and it is pretty much what you'd expect. The 30gig just fits (size A). The cover for the screen is a very clear, hard piece of plastic you insert. It is definitely attracting some lint etc. and not an improvement on the look of the ipod (I got the carbon color). Also, the belt clip is very flimsy and completely plastic. The instructions state that it is not meant for "vigorous activities or exercise." I feel safe that his case will protect my ipod and it makes the ipod very grippy. Not perfect, but probably the best out there in terms of size, style and protection. Should be about half the current price. If you want something to run with, get an armband.

I'll keep this short and sweet. This case is everything you could want it to be. It provides a good grip, the screen guard stays perfectly in place and looks great, it gives good access to everything on the iPod you could want access to... the ONLY downside to this that keeps it from being a 5 star rating for me is the fact that it is a bit of a pain to remove/put on. While I don't particularly CARE about this, it does mean that because the case gives the iPod a little more size, it won't fit comfortably into most close-fit docking devices that you can buy for the iPod, plus the little flip cover over the port on the bottom of the iPod can get in the way of even those port devices it CAN fit into. There are ways around this, such as getting an iTrip for your car rather than a docking-style device, etc. Overall, I'm VERY happy with this case, and despite the little downsides I won't be trading it out for anything.

I got mine yesterday. First of all, the look is very cheap, the black color is spotchy and gray in some spots. Second, this has NO screen protection. I knew the click-wheel would be exposed, but there is no reason not to have a screen cover. And third, it's not a molded fit, as someone wrote in an earlier review. In fact, the fit is quite loose and given the openings for the screen and clickwheel, there is full potential for stuff like dust or crumbs to get inside. I have a 4th generation 20Gb Ipod with color screen (U2 edition), so presumably this is the model that the iskin was specifically designed for. Considering the price, it is a total rip off, I wouldn't recomend this product.

This is my third reVOlutions iSkin eVo2 since purchasing my iPod Photo 30 GB many years ago. I originally bought this skin to protect the finish of my iPod from scratches but now like it for the clip on the back which allows me to wear it on my pants waist for walking the dog or doing household chores. I gave it four stars because, as I stated earlier, I have had to buy three. My previous two (one pink, one black) both had the same problem, necessitating a new purchase: the plastic clip on the back broke. Now, it is possible to purchase a replacement clip, but when the replacement clip is more than the price of a new skin, I opt to just buy a whole new skin. I have researched other products and in the end I keep coming back to this brand, despite the cheap clip. As I said, my iPod is one of the dinosaurs from years ago so I guess when you consider how much I use my iPod/wear the clip and the years I've had it, the product overall is pretty good. That said, I still think they could put a stronger plastic clip on this skin or use metal or some other material to avoid the problem altogether.

Aside from the plastic clip problems, the case will attract pet hair or dust, but that is to be expected as it is made out of a silicone material that naturally attracts such items. It is easy to put on the skin and to take it off. The hard, plastic viewing window is nice and sturdy and protects the screen well.

I have the older iPod shown here, I would probably never put one of those new ones in a case, because I think they are beautiful. However, I love the fact that my iPod is now black, this comes with a cover for the screen, that protects it, and if the cover gets lint on it, just simply wipe it off with a damp cloth. I use the iTrip with mine, and after breaking the case in, I have no problem with it coming loose. This is the best investment you can make for the older iPod's.
