W. STEVENS says:
"Feels Good at First" what a poor choice for the second single. A slow sorta boring song while not terrible is never going to ignite new interest in California 37. On the OTHER HAND "Mermaid" is the catchiest song on the whole new album very reminiscent of "Hey Soul Sister". The hook in this song is awesome,

Beauty in the water, angel on the beach
Ocean's daughter, I thought love was out of reach
Till I got her, had I known it could come true
I would have wished in '92, for a mermaid just like you
Whoa, just like you, whoa

This single could be huge, it's a better song than Drive By in my opinion which is also catchy (with a great hook as well) but Mermaid is the best uptempo song on the CD!

Because they were crazy?

Haha, Mermaid was probably one of my favorites if not my favorite on this album.

It's a single now! It's been one since December, along with Bruises.
