Of course, as long as you have a Blu Ray or DVD player, or a wireless device that connects to your Netflix or other online movie service. One note: from the day I properly installed this TV, it randomly shuts down without warning, indicating a serious design or assembly flaw. Beware.

No. This tv does not have a DVD built in. You can hook up a DVD, blu-ray or VCR to this TV and play movies that way.

Yes, but you need to access the internet to do this. There are a couple low cost options. Either use gaming system (Xbox/PS3) or you can now get a pretty good DVD or Blu Ray player with built-in wireless that comes with Netflix and other streaming video services installed for under $125.00 Connect either to the TV via HDMI cable (just get the $6 on Amazon) and you are good to go!

Sorry I made a mistake in my answer yesterday I hace two different Panasonics,and with this one you do not have the apps.I misread the model number .
