We received ours this week and I just assembled it this afternoon. It took me 2 hours by myself. The instructions are straight forward and everything was in good shape, even though the box was very beat up in shipping. A 13mm box end wrench and a 5mm metric allen socket made the work MUCH easier and quicker.

I'm very impressed with the rigidity of it. Supports me easily and I'm 180#. It's a little taller than I'd like for our 3yo. And the specs say 46x91", but ours measures 49x94 assembled. Not a big deal, but something I noticed. Anyway, she's small for her age and will grow into it. The colors are bright and vibrant. The pieces seem high quality. Hopefully it will hold up well.

This thing is strong. I am 200 pounds and this thing doesn't even flex. It does have a bunch of bolts. The directions were easy to read and follow. My little girl will be 2 here soon and she loves it. It is big enough for here cousins to play on to and they are six years old. The powder coat is pretty good to. It has plastic covers on all the bolts to keep from snagging things. Over all I really like it.

We have had this over a year now. It took a little time to put together but was not difficult. I bought it for my basement so the kids would have something to climb on in the winter when we did not want to go outside. It is very sturdy for my 4 kids ranging in age from 6 to 11. They throw blankets on it and use it as a fort, the have had a sleepover under it and of course they climb all over it. My older kids are using it less these days. I would say the sweet spot for the age range is ages 3 to 7.

One word, FANTASTIC! There were a couple of reviews on here that said it didn't come with all the parts....not an issue for me. It came with everything that would be needed. This is a very solid product. When it's put together it will leave you with zero fear that it's going to fall apart or tip with use.

Just a couple of things you should consider when buying:

1. The box will be shipped in the box of the product. So if it is a surprise, be warned, the picture of the item is on the box.
2. Set aside some time to build this. I started by myself (you can get all the framing done), but then I had to get help from my wife to start connecting the pieces. It took about 2 hours of time to build the frame by myself and another 2 hours with my wife to connect everything together and tighten the screws.
3. It comes with an allen wrench and asks you to also use an ajustable wretch (not included). I HIGHLY suggest using both a ratcheting socket wrench and a ratcheting allen wrench. There are about 200 nuts and bolts on this thing. Without the ease of the ratchet, you will be there forever.

With that said, this is a wonderful product that your kid will love and you will feel safe with them using.

Most important: This dome is very strong (supports adults) and all pieces are well-smoothed so it is hard for kids to get hurt. Bolt heads are smooth, and nuts are on the inside, and are protected by plastic caps. Finish was perfect, and should stand up to years of weather.

The downside: instructions are barely OK: 3 adults reading the instructions all made assembly errors that needed to be undone and then redone. It also took 3 adults a half day to assemble, using two sets of ratchet wrenches and allen wrenches.

Assembly tips: 1. only loosely tighten all bolts until all parts are assembled, then do final positioning and tighten everything up snug. 2. count parts before beginning; we were short 3 washers and one protective cap, but had everything else.

I ordered this for my son. I wanted something he could play on, that wasn't made of plastic or thin metal. This is a well made product, using strong metal tubing. There is a good bit of effort required to assemble it, but it is worth it, in my opinion, as it will last a good long time. It is strong enough that I can climb up on it, at 190lbs, yet light enough that I can pick it up myself and move it to mow underneath of it. My boys will be playing on this for years to come.

-- Update, April 2015
After almost 4 years, the Dome Climber is still in like-new shape. No rusting, no bent bars, and have had myself and 2 boys climbing on it at the same time. Still very happy with this purchase, and would recommend it without hesitation.

I purchased this from Wayfair they were not helpful you are better off buying it directly from Amazon.
It's ok but a little smaller than I pictured.
My 6 year old is taller than it and my 4 year old is mastering it.
I would get a bigger (taller) one I would say this is for kids up to 7 years old max not 10 as it said.

Do we like the dome now that it is together? YES, but I wouldn't buy one from this company EVER again! We, like many other people mentioned also had pieces missing from our box. I called the customer service number that day and was told it would be 10 business days, I told her that was not acceptable and that I wanted a manager ... I got voice mail. I called the next day and was told it would ship out in 2 business days, fine! 2 business days passed ... no parts! Called for a 3rd, 4th, 5th, and final 6th time. After they lied about sending it again I asked for the tracking number. After waiting on the phone for 17 minutes, she gave me the number and quite a bit of attitude to go with it! Do yourself a favor and buy one from another company, this company was nothing but a headache to deal with. The only thing worse than dealing with them is trying to figure out how to pack up and return 170lbs of junk because that's all it is if you don't have all the parts!

Bought this for my twin 3 yr. old grandsons. Seems well made and was relatively easy to assemble. Delivery was prompt.

The twins and their 14 yr. old brother are climbing all over it. A great purchase.

I am a 53 year old woman with an in~home daycare of 10 children.... They ALL Love this... It took me some time to put it together, it would have been faster with an extra pair of hands BUT all in all it was very easy. I was able to follow the direction nicely and when it came time to tighten all the bolts I started from the bottom and worked my way up to the top. I enjoy all the fun the children are having !
