A PASSIONATE STORY,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: My Perfect Man (My Series) (Kindle Edition)
This is the second book of a trilogy, the first My Captor, My Love (A Novel) in which we met Dani and Honon the chiefs son. Honon lives in a secluded valley not far from Mammoth Lakes, his tribe is hidden and unknown to the outside world. In this story we meet Liwanu a fellow brave and friend of Honon and Dani's friend and fellow nurse Karen.
The first time Karen sees Liwanu she is totally taken with this gorgeous man at over six foot tall and packed with muscle he is an intimidating sight. Karen is a outgoing woman even though she has had some bad relationships, which have left her wary of getting too close to any man. Though her feelings towards Liwanu leave her conflicted. But the chemistry and heat that has sparked between her and Liwanu is very difficult to ignore.
I don't want to say more about this book as a lot happens and it would be easy to give the story away. I will say that it is a great read filled with plenty of passion. The characters are all well drawn and have real depth, the love scenes are very well done with real emotion and feeling. it is so easy to become involved with the story as it unfolds a real page turner. I was lucky and received my copy free. I can hardly wait for the next instalment which I hope is going to feature Kosumi who is Honon's brother. It would be best to read these books in order so as not to miss anything.

Yes this author certainly knows how to draw the reader in and weave a wonderful story. I am hoping the next book will be published soon. Kosumi seems to be a less intense character than the first two heroes so maybe his story will have a different but no less absorbing plot.
