3.0 out of 5 stars Little disappointed in it, January 31, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Kindle Paperwhite 3G, 6" High Resolution Display with Built-in Light, Free 3G + Wi-Fi [Previous Generation] (Electronics)
First of all, I love the light. I like to read in bed, so now I don't have to leave the lamp on, because sometimes I fall asleep reading. I like the fact it will turn itself off after no activity in a short period of time. It's a nice size and weight, and easy to read.

My only problem is it is so touchy that it sometimes changes pages when I don't want it to, or it goes forward or backwards more than one page at a time. Even if I touch the black sides it sometimes turns the pages. This happens a lot. I think if it were not so touchy I would love it. I almost wish my last kindle had a light, I'd go back to using it. Sometimes hitting the page turn button is easier than the touch screen.

As you can tell by the fact I have purchased several kindles and almost 600 books, I really enjoy the kindle.

One is for my granddaughter, who is 8 and loves to read when she comes to my house. She enjoys laying in bed with me while we both read. I would like to see the Kindle Store for children's books that have been marked down price wise easier to find,
Maybe even listed in age groups like at the Barnes & Noble store where there are sections marked "Ages 8 - 12" or something like that.

Thanks again for a great product.

The turn button was a lot easier, new kindle is way to touchy, spend more time finding the right page. Light is great, I agree with Diane.
