Great slipper, size was too small,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: UGG Men's Ascot Wool Slipper (Apparel)
The construction of this Mens Ugg Black Ascot slipper is top notch. The exterior is a terrific looking soft, pliable leather that will probably last for years. The interior is made of plush wool that compresses (I think it will become pretty flat after a while, but it is still looking good after two months of wear). It is really warm. I like everything about this slipper...except the size. I wear a 10-1/2 Medium width mens shoe and, since they don't offer half-sizes and other reviews said they run a little small, I ordered size 11.
They are very tight. Both in length and in width. I wore them for two months thinking they will expand, and they have. They have gone from "very tight" to just "tight". In fact, I can't wear them anymore. They hurt. The construction is so good that they just didn't give very much over time.
I fear the next size up (12) would be too loose, so I am out of luck with Ugg's.
If you have a foot that is a little narrower than "Medium" you will do fine with the width. I recommend you order 1 size larger than your shoe size. If you wear a "Half-size" shoe, I fear you will be in the same predicament as me...

I was able to see this review last year just before I made my purchase and took your advice. I have now worn these so much that I need to replace them and wanted to thank you for saving me some trouble the first time. You were exactly right and even though I selected the next larger size, it was still pretty tight for the first couple of weeks. After I broke them in, they're now just right.

Weird. I wear a 10 1/2 in nike, reebok sneakers. I wear a 10 in clarks dress shoes and timberland work boots. In uggs, I am definitely a 9. I find they run big not small, and when I mentioned it to my girlfriend she agreed. Just wanted to share my experience...

I can second this. I bought a pair of these last week and the 11's slip off my foot really easily, so I went with the 10, which is a little tight, but my heel doesn't sleep. I do have a narrower foot, FWIW. I typically wear 10 1/2.

my experience is that these shoes run large .I wear a 9 1/2 to 10 size tennis shoe and bought a 9 with the UGG's.
a little snug at 9 at first but now they are perfect after break in. With slip ons you have to typically go smaller then your tennis shoe size or your
foot will be swimming in them after a few months of use.

I read your review about the sizing of these Uggs being too small, but I've been a size 12M for 30 years and I've never had a problem with fitting. With this, however, they cut off blood flow to my toes. Now I'm not certain if I should go to a size 13 or 14. I would have thought that a company would automatically make these a little larger in size. It's not like these are dress shoes, although, they look like a nice pair of Italian drivers.
