Great for pointing, not for drawing,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Generic 3 Pack of Universal Touch Screen Stylus Pen (Red + Black + Silver) (Wireless Phone Accessory)
These stylus are very well made and work very well, if all you want to do is find an alternative to pressing the onscreen keyboard. However, these stylus are totally useless for use with a drawing program because the rubber tip will not glide across the screen. If you use your iPhone outdoors and you are wearing gloves, these stylus are for you. If you want to draw, then you'd be better off with a stylus with a soft foam tip.

Thank you for your review, save me money. I was hoping to use this for iphone Application Brushes, which is a drawing app.

Yes, you are right. I just purchased one, and it is indeed not for a drawing, in any means. Works okay with pointers. You need to press firmly to the machine to recognize the click. The clip on the top of the pen is plastic, and it looks fragile, so one needs to be careful not to clip on the thick materials.

If all you want to do is use it to press on the on-screen keyboard and launch icons then these styluses work great. If you want to draw with your iPad, then they are terrible because they offer too much resistance against the screen to draw freely. I hope that clarifies my review!

I tried this stylus on my iPad 2 and iPhone 4S and it skips too much and misses about every 4th tap. I don't have screen protectors on either device so that's not the problem. Them I bought a STYLUS-R-US one (actually two, the TERMINATOR and the EXECUTIVE) and what a difference. Just like they advertise. No pressure needed. No skipping at all. Perfect for takings notes and drawing. A little expensive but well worth it. I think their address is beststylusDOTcom.

Thanks for the information. I was thinking to buy it for a handwriting program in App Store. Seems like I don't need to waste the money.
