This review is from: Keurig B40 Elite Brewing System (Kitchen)
The Keurig B-40 makes excellent, well flavored coffee... in a snap! It tastes just as good as a brewed cup with a traditional coffee maker, it does NOT taste like it came from a vending machine.
The only con is minor: the 7.25 ounce serving size. This is perfect for a coffee cup, but a large coffee mug will require you to brew 2 k-cups. But brewing is so quick, that you can brew both K-cups within 30 seconds.
The B-40 is an excellent choice for a model. Because brew cycles are so fast, you do not need the timer option that comes with the B-50 or B-60. The B-50 also offers a smaller cup brew option, but trust me - you won't need it. The B-40 also comes with an auto-off feature that will turn off the machine 2 hours after the last brew, which is great if you worry you may forget to. (If you drink coffee throughout the day, you can disable this feature too.)
I joined Green Mountain Coffee's "cafe club". Check it out on their website. Huge variety of coffees and teas. Free shipping and automatic deliveries of your favorite flavors set up on a schedule you choose.
Great coffee maker, highly recommend.

I'm confused...at least 2 other reviewers have commented on having only one brew cup size, yet this is in the product description:
"Simply open the lid, insert a K-Cup, close the lid, and select a cup size. Two brew-size options include a 7-1/4-ounce cup and a 9-1/4-ounce mug."
What's the deal?

There are THREE different Keruigs out on the market now, one can brew only one cup size, another brews two, and the big one (Keruig B-60) brews three cup sizes (6 oz., 8 oz., and 10 oz.). We use the one with just one cup size at my job, where we also sell Keruigs. Hope this helped.

There are two serving sizes available on the current B40.
If you look at the picture you see two blue buttons at the bottom of the control panel. They are small mug and large mug. Select the one you want to get the 7 1/4 oz or 9 1/4 oz serving.

actually, it is confusing. I just read the description of the elite in a green mountain magazine and it said had the 2 sizes (and it was talking about this one.. the elite). I however owned one and it only had the one size.. at least all i ever realized.. I got the next step up and gave mine to a friend.. I actually was calling her today to ask her to double check the manual...maybe I missed something??

I'm noticing that on the 3rd pic next to the description you can see that it is different than the other pics! it only shows one coffee size.. they must have changed the b40 elite after I bought mine and changed it.. I'm also noticing i'm commenting on a review thats over a year old!! ha! hopefully you have figured out your coffee woes by now! :)

The "Cafe Express" club's "free shipping" is free only if you buy 4 or more boxes at a time. Otherwise you'll pay $17 and change for one box. I quit that club for that reason.
