Neck and neck w/ Bose 251s,
This review is from: Yamaha NS-AW350 2-Way Indoor/Outdoor Speakers (Pair, Black) (Electronics)
I just hooked them up and ran an A/B test with a set of Bose 251s. I think the sound reproduction is every bit as good as the Bose setup. For a third of the price you can't pass these by. The only thing that remains to be determined is how well they will stand up to the weather. If you can mount them under an overhang and keep them out of rain and snow, I think these are the real deal.

F. C. Ho says:
Did you use an amplifier that has a 8 ohm output? Because I notice the Yamaha is listed as a 6 ohm speaker, and the Bose 8 ohm, I guess my concern is that if I put an 8 ohm output to the Yamaha, will it cause any problems??

I rebuild a lot of old amplifiers. It is always best to have a perfect impedance match between the amp and the speakers, but this is one of those close enough for rock 'n' roll kind of things. If the amp output is 8 ohms anything plus or minus 50% will probably be okay. If you have an 8 ohm amp, anything from 4 ohms to 12 ohms in a speaker should work. Since you're dealing in stereo, check to see if it is 8 ohms per side.
