This knife is a very good value.
I'm used to my traditional chef's knife (maybe twice the cost of this). Compared to that, this knife is very light and considerably thinner (and feels sharper).
To be honest I can't tell if it has full tang or not and I can't tell if it's stamped of forged. It doesn't say.
Using it however, it performed flawlessly. I like it more than my chef's knife for general use (if nothing else because it's so much lighter and the handle is very comfortable). The handle is also very nonslip.
So in the end, it doesn't matter how it's made and what features it has, it's a very very good inexpensive knife and I find that it's the first knife I reach for.
