This review is from: Epson WorkForce 633 All-in-One Printer (C11CB06211) (Office Product)I've had this for about a week now so I as I put it through more paces I will update the review. So far everyone in my household has been very happy with this printer. I was looking for a cost-effective network printer. The prints are decent enough but it's nothing that will rock your world, (This machine is only $99, don't forget that). 90% of the people in my house print everything in Draft mode anyway double-sided (students). The only thing I initially did was upgrade the firmware immediately. As a side note, I tried to find the difference between the 633 and the 635 and I can't find anything. Even the Epson website says they're the same.
I have this printer running directly through my router which is luckily located right next to the printer. I can't comment on the WiFi network. And honestly, if you can avoid the WiFi part you should (just my opinion). Almost all WiFi printers have nasty comments about the WiFi aspects. Anyway, I was concerned because this printer is accessed by an XP, OSX Snow Leopard, and Windows 7 machine which sounds like a recipe for disaster. I am happy to say that all 3 OS's can print to the network with 0 problems thanks to the great Epson software which made it easy. As another reviewer mentioned the paper tray is indeed flimsy but it shouldn't be a problem if you put it in a place away from elbows and flailing hands.
It's hard to say this printer is for everyone. It is big and heavy so you do need some space for it. I was replacing an old early 2000's HP printer so by my standards this machine is pretty fantastic. But as of now, I feel confident recommending it based on the situations I have used it for.
