Excellent juicer for the price!,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Breville BJE200XL Compact Juice Fountain 700-Watt Juice Extractor (Kitchen)
We've had a juicer for several years and love making fresh juice quickly and easily (and it's a great way to get fruits and veggies in your diet if you're busy). After working our old juicer to its death and reading tons of reviews, we decided to purchase the Breville Compact Juice Fountain.
One of the reasons we chose the Breville is our experience with other Breville products. We own a Breville blender and the Personal Pie, and we absolutely love them for their ease of use, durability, and style.
This juicer is no exception! It looks great on the counter and takes up less space than other juicers with less-powerful motors. The build is what we've come to expect from Breville. It's sturdy, well engineered, and feels like it will last a long time.
So, how does it juice? Well, it extracts more juice than our old blender, and it has no problem tearing through larger produce that will fit into the wide mouth. It's quiet for a juicer, and it is well balanced. We made 1.5 liters of juice quickly and just filled the pulp container to the top at the very end. The pulp was pretty dry and didn't have too many big chunks of produce in it.
Cleanup is always a pain with juicers, but this one was much easier to deal with. The supplied spatula and a quick rinse took care of most of the components. The mesh filter was much easier to clean than our previous juicer, but it took a little scrubbing with the included nylon brush. The base had only a couple of juice drops on it, so a quick wipe was all it needed.
We're thrilled with our purchase so far, and we'd absolutely purchase one again!

I have a question about veggies. How does this juicer handle green veggies?
