Great books, but not for aspiring readers,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought this boxed set because my kids have a couple of other Mo Willems books and love them. These three pigeon books are great books--but useless for aspiring readers like my boys. To condense the books into a smaller sized package, they didn't just reduce the font (which, while not ideal, would have been OK)--they turned several pages of each book into smaller "thumbnails" to squeeze them on a single page. Now I'm going to have to invest in the full-size versions of each. I think this should have been spelled out more explicitly in Amazon's description of the product.

ElsieDog, are you referring to the two pages with 8 'tiles' where the Pigeon is ranting in each book? That's actually the way the books are written, and it's like that in the larger books as well.

Thank you for the insight. I was originally thinking that there was content lost. If there's not content lost, I don't mind the smaller versions of the books at all! This has been added to my holiday shopping list :-)

Those several pages are the exact way it is in the full size version. Getting a full size version will not change the pages.
