This review is from: Safe House (DVD)
When the title of a movie is Safe House, one can assume that this CIA safe house in South Africa is any but safe for its intended guest, Tobin Frost (Denzel Washington) a rogue CIA agent. Daniel Espinosa keeps the movie moving at a good clip with smart cinematography. Denzel Washington is believable and classy. Ryan Reynolds provides a good supporting role as a CIA safe house keeper. Overall, one of the best thriller action movies in the past year.
If you are interested in other great CIA movies, please check out Body of Lies(Leonardo Dicaprio), The Recruit(Al Pacino with Colin Farrell), and Spy Game(Robert Redford with Brad Pitt).

This is the kind of review I enjoy the most. I am not a writer. Just and average guy who loves movies. Your review although more articulate than mine, it's not over the top writing where you are trying to prove that you are a human dictionary, and a English College Proffesor. It was good, to the point, alhtough i don't mind long reviews due to the fact I write way to much, but it was well written and it explaind enough about the film and you even gave examples. One of which "Spy Game" I did not even know about but will now rent and watch due to your review. Good job! By the way, I loved this movie. Anything with Washington in it is going to be good. There is no way anyone could not like a movie he is in. "Man on Fire" is one of my favorite movies of all time. Thanks again,
Michael M. Cifelli
