Anybody know where this was filmed ? I can`t find any location info on it. I notice the gas station is an Enco. This is what some Esso stations were called in certain states before they all became Exxon in `72 or so. In the game arcade I see some familiar attractions like the baseball game, the submarine game, and the helicopter game. I can remember playing all three of these on the boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach, DE in the early `70`s. Really brought back some summer memories. Another early Michael Douglas film you might want to take a peek at is called "Adam At 6 AM". That one I know was filmed in Missouri and is also sort of an early `70`s time capsule.

Connecticut Consumer says:
Early in the movie, Barbara Bel Geddes makes a remark about her husband being a Packers fan. This suggests that the film might have been set in Wisconsin, but doesn't necessarily mean the movie was actually filmed there.

The opening scenes are filmed in South Pasadena, CA. If you listen closely, they even mention the street name on the radio. The house Michael Douglas walks into belongs to my next door neighbor however, the treehouse was located in my backyard. Its definitely a trip to see this film and what the back of my house and yard used to look like. Coincidentally, Jamie Lee Curtis' house in Halloween is located on this same street.
