Decent cheap belt,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: CTM® Womens Leather 1 1/8 Inch Basic Dress Belt (Apparel)
It's a decent cheap belt. It's not holding up that great, but I didn't expect it to for $3.95. The thing that really aggravated me was the customer service. I ordered 2 belts, one black and one brown. They sent me 2 brown and blamed Amazon for the the problem. They said they could exchange one if I paid shipping (which cost more than the belt). When I rated then neutral - which I thought was very fair since I didn't receive what I ordered - they asked me to REMOVE my feedback because it hurt their rating. Don't you think it would make more sense to make the customer happy than yell at them for fair feedback? Needless to say, I won't be ordering from them again - or removing my feedback!

I personally and professionally am sick and tired of vendors who tell customers to remove a rating because of how it may or may not affect them. Ratings are supposed to be unbiased and unsolicited. The whole IDEA of a rating is to provide HONEST and TRUTHFUL reporting that will be helpful to other considering purchasing the item. Vendors need to grow up and utilize a less than stellar rating as valuable info and fix the problem vs 'fixing' by essentially 'fixing' an otherwise what would be truthful system. Good for this customer in telling the truth and not allowing herself to be guilt-tripped into hiding such (while being asked simultaneously to pay the briber).

Agreed. In any case, a vendor should only ask you to consider changing the rating if they are willing to remedy the problem. I report sellers who harass me about changing my rating without offering a remedy. That behavior is against Amazon policy.

Kevin B. Bone says:
The way to handle this is really quite simple for people who still want to get this belt at this price from this merchant. Since the belt is less than $4 and they offer free shipping, those who would like multiple colors should be sure to make a separate order for each belt. Just sign in, pick the color you want and select "Buy Now with 1-Click". I doubt their order system is sophisticated enough to recognize that they have multiple orders for the same address and will combine them for shipping. This is based on the fact that someone ordered 2 belts of different colors and got two of the same color. If there order system can't do that right, it probably won't consolidate. Each belt will cost them a full shipping fee but you will be fairly certain of getting the quantity and color you want.
Note: I am not advocating running up their cost per unit by creating a different shipment for each belt thus decreasing their profits, I am just suggesting that by ordering each color separately you have a much lower likelihood of the person with the pick list pulling the wrong item. Unfortunately, this will probably cost them more than it would have to provide basic, acceptable customer service, but their performance indicates a need on the part of the customer to process each item discretely to merit the higher customer satisfaction reviews they desire. If this gets you exactly what you want at what is a great price, they will deserve a positive rating and five star results, which is what they have expressed they desire. It's a win-win.

I got a similar problem with them.....i ordered 2 belts, 1 white and 1 black . The white one was ok but the black one was a kid size belt and was suppose to be 1 1/8 inches and it was only 1 inch.......i had to pay rerturn which would cost more than the belt itself!!! uffff no buying again from them
