This review is from: Japanese Kitchen Cooking Chef Sushi Santoku Knife Sr100 (Kitchen)Decent knife blade for the money. Handle is really cheap, be wary when washing this knife. Blade its self seems to hold up well. I am gentle on my knives anyway, hand wash only, then dry. Never put away or down wet. Its seems to take a whet stone well. Sharpened right up.
This is not a "high grade" knife--be warned--its a off the rack knife in Japan. But its better than 60% of what you can buy off the rack here in the US
